After playing Twilight Princess I think there is a chance Zelda will actually be a good character this time around.
And Ganondorf now has alot of options for moves also.
Link has some new things that could be added as well.
But all this may cost us Sheik sad And Sheik is so very powerful.

Mayhaps Sheik will be a completely seperate character from Zelda this time around. It would only make sense.

I wouldn't mind. It'd be cool if she could be left in as a tribute to Ocarina of Time.
But I hope Zelda AND Ganondorf get TP updates.

I can't wait to see all of the Zelda characters.
I'm betting that Shiek gets taken out though.. She wasn't that important in OOT, and she's not even in Twilight Princess.

Uh... the recency of the characters isn't an issue of SSBB at all... Pit hasn't appeared in a game since... well, you know.
Sheik is an incredibly popular character among SSBM gamers, and Nintendo would recieve lots of angry mail if they did not include Shiek in SSBB.

Link might not actually suck! I hope that Zelda gets a huge update, and i hope they have the inclusion of Midna.

The only way that Midna could really work is if Wolf Link was in there, but I don't really want Wolf Link. Make her a trophy or something.
Regarding Sheik... true she has a high chance of being dropped but I think they might keep her in as a nod to OOT, that game has so many fans so they might just leave her in there for old times sake.
If she does return she'll be her own character though. As long as she isn't severely nerfed its fine with me lol.

I'd like to have Midna. She is, for a being spawned of Twilight, good looking.
Even in her imp form.
I hope they don't drop Sheik.
Maybe they'll still have the Zelda/Sheik transformation?

However, it is highly unlikely. I'd rather have Zelda get a TP update and lose Sheik then stay OOT.
By the way, they will have Link TP updates.
They're using his Twilight Princess self. So it'd be plan stupid for him NOt to have TP updates.
However, the presence of Ganondorf is still up to speculation. Although not an officially recognized charactor, he will be an unlockable.
So will be Luigi and Bowser.
Jigglypuff, too, but I'd rather have her...not be there...

I still hold to the belief that it would be incredibly unlikely that Shiek would be cut. If the developers can toss in a one-hit-wonder NES star (Pit), then a popular character from an extremely top-selling game will definitely make it.
