I rather like it, though I haven't quite finished reading it. Unfortunately it's part of my GCSE coursework...
Anyway, I really like this because of the way that Bronte can contrast two things so well. My favorite part is when Jan is describing the coming of spring alongside the coming of the disease. It's very good, though my teacher now thinks me very morbid...

I Detest that book.
Granted, I only read it when I was in the 6th grade. But I definitely died a little bit each day I had to read that book. It is not a happy part of my memories

I saw the movie and just started the book. I loved the movie! It was amazing, it was a masterpiece theatre special and they stay pretty close to the book and I really liked the actor who played Mr. Rodchester he was good looking too but like 30 something...odd...

I was bored with Jane Eyre when I read it in high school...couldn't get into it for some reason. I thought I'd like it because I'm fond of Jane Austen's novels, but Jane Eyre just didn't click for me. I hardly remember the book now too, lol.

I'm about to start reading it again. And Wings, Jane Austen didn't write Jane Eyre. It's a Charlotte Bronte book.
