This is how the TECH TEAM was formed through my eyes.

Chapter 1 : The Discovery
Myself and Matt (Gosu) had been playing smash together for 1 year. Meeting with school mates every fortnight for a day of smash/warhammer. We had no idea of any technical moves or what the tier list was. Even so, my main was marth, his was peach. Every meet we would have a best of 5 on FD and for the 1st 8 months matt won every single game. One day during school i googled smash bros and came across a message board on gamefaqs. After reading a couple of topics i stumbled my way to smashboards after reading a tier list discussion topic (trying to find out what a tier list was). Tactics, faqs, debate and the iceing on the top, videos. For weeks every me and matt went to the library and searched smashboards. Watching videos of our characters until one day we came across a very special match. Ken(marth) v Azen(peach) on FD. We both took this video home and studied it, trying to copy every move. After a month or so, the best of 5's were going either way until eventually I was winning them with not only marth, but fox and shiek. Both of us spent more and more time playing/discovery smash tactics and new techniques. We had eventually become so good that our school mates wouldnt play against us because we always 4 stocked them and teamed up in ffa matches.

Chapter 2 : Regional Zones
December 14th 2005, 12:30am. I had reieved a message from matt that their was a Qld Thread. I checked it out and added some msn address to my messenger. One person who I had added was a smasher called NG7 (Toai). I told him who I was and he asked if i was going to King Mos's tournament the same day. I had no idea about the details so Toai filled me in and at 11am the very next morning I headed off.

Chapter 3 : The Gathering
I arrived to a smash group of about 12 people. I sat and watched as they played friendly ffa's purposley not joining. I had the mindset that I was going to be destroyed but after watching 2 or 3 matches I had found their skill to be close to my own. The tournament was about to start and I hadnt played in any warm up matches. My 1st opponent was Toai. I had watched him playing and his technical skill was amazing. Thinking i wouldnt stand a chance I went with shiek. To my amazement within 2 minutes, I had taken 4 unanswered stock. Nobody saw the match as everyone had an opponent. My next match up was against the Tasmanian, DJ CAT. He chose mario and i went with marth. He got my in a combo early in and did about 60% dmg, the only dmg he did for the whole match. I easily won another game. A couple of people watched and I could hear them discussing if I could match it with King Kong (josh). They didnt have to wait long because it was us against each other next round. The match went as everyone assumed, Josh had me down 3 stock to 1 and looked like taking an easy victory. He was an amazing player and at that stage you couldnt escape his up-throw to up-air combo. I decided to take a different strategy and waited for him to come to me and played the same tactic against him. Eventually after 7 minutes I had won. At that point everyone was asking who I was and who I played against. My next matchup was against the tournament host, King Mos`(Mitch). It was an extremely clsoe match all the way and I came out victorious yet again, following the same tactic I used agaisnt Josh. The finals had come and I was undefeated. My first match in the finals was again against Mitch and I once again beat him in the best of 3 to advance to the final with Josh. I reused the same tactic and won an easy match, the 2nd was not as easy. He had also changed tactics and overcame me in the 2nd match. The 3rd match went much like our first encounter I was on +140% and josh had 1 stock left on 0%. I grabbed him, threw him forward, he missed the tech and i f-smashed then went for the f-air to d-air and won. Everyone was speachless and before they could say anything I had to leave.

Chapter 4 : Aftermath

Y'know, if the world ever gets hit by a comet and we're the only ones left we're starting a religion around this.
