I'm not sure anyone will be happy in answering why no one ever gets on.
For instence, John, you get on only every day for about, maybe at most an hour. But you don't get on again till the next day (I was just using you as an example John, nothing agianst you)

Gets online? Well, we'd just like it if people spared a few minutes to look around and post a bit, not live on here!

I have other things to do, and so do a lot of guild members. I try to be as active as I can. Also, at the moment we do not have many regulars.

It's when you kill a fetus. Depending on who developed it is, they can inject the mother with a chemical that kills it and the embryo will be ejected in her next period. If it's later in the development of the fetus then they can do other things to kill it and there will be some sort of small-scale still birth. Many peoplpe object to it because they believe it's murdering, however,in mitigating circumstances I think that it can be used for a good reason.

I don't want to be mean, but I feel as if some people in the guild don't act within the guild weekly or monthly for that matter, so should we create a sign up or leave topic?

I dont think we should be too strict, as John said, people are busy and they have lives outside of the computer and certainly outside of the guild. I do think we need to crack downn though. This is getting excessive, there are people who contribute next to nothing to the guild, who never post, and dont really need to be part of a community their not going participate in. There are 6-7 of us who are on here daily (a couple of which are staff members) and a few more who are on here regularly enough to be recognizable but there are names on the members list I have never seen post anything before. If we cant create a "sign up or leave" topic, then how can we get people to participate or get them to explore the other aspects of the guild other then G.D.?

Well thats just sad. Well then what do we do? Do we tolerate having a bunch of members that dont participate? Do we send out mass e-mails cracking down, telling them to buck-up or get out? How do we obtain more regulars that way, hell there are only a handful of us anyway?

We could pm them asking them if they still wanted to be in the guild

And if most of them say yes and then continue to ignore our presence?

Here is another thing to consider, first, right now even though there are only a few of us, we all know/recognize each other. We work together and lend asstistance if needed. We might be a fairly small, fairly new community but we are also fairly close, in a sense of what I stated above. I know other guilds that dont have three people that are as helpful and involved and get along as well as our little community does. See even now we are working together as a group. Second, as it stands we all seem to have similar goals/political opinions. Its true that we disagree on somethings, even get into somewhat heated spats, but in the end I dont see any grudges. You and Jon are having a little disagreement about global warming, but you still can work together and you still appear to like each other. Badgerkin and I got into some what of a spat about population control and the adoption system but I dont resent her in the least. My point is before we go off expanding and promoting more participation do we really want to change that. Take it into consideration.
On the other hand 5 people answering each others riddles gets old.......

I've invited more people, but they just don't post. It's rediculous really, if they wanted to join then they'd post, if they have decided against it then they could just quit. Oh, well...

Ok, I've got a harder question to ask you

Why am I the only one asking questions?

I just asked you (everyone) a question. I'll repeat, Yes that would probably be a good start but then what if we do it and most of the people say yes, they do want to stay and then continue to ignore our existance? What action do we take then?
