I didn't watch this movie in yeeeeaaars.
Recently, I was watching Disney song scenes on youtube, and decided "sure, why not" on two of the HoND scenes. Well I liked them, and finally watched the movie last weekend.
I don't remember why I didn't like it as a kid, maybe it scared me? I don't know, but after watching it now that I'm older, I really like it ^_^
What do you all think about it?

I love that movie. One of the few times I'll say this: The characters were better in the movie. Esmeralda ticks me in the book. But the Disney version... when she saves Quasi... I agree with Phoebus: "What a woman!" Plus the villian rocked in a whole new level.
Now usually in Disney the bad guys know they're the bad guys and they love it. Frollo sees himself as the good guy and thinks he's working in the name of God. It's like having the spanish inquisition Disney version. I thought that was very cool.

I think it seemed to serious, and most people wanted the gypsy to get with Quasi, so it might not have gotten to people at first... but for me, it was the Disney's Greatest collections. When I heard "Out There" and "The Bells of Notre Dame" and even "Topsy Turvy," I had to watch the movie again, and then I fell in lurve! heart _ heart

Oh, I love that movie. ^.^ It's got more adult themes than most Disney movies. Like Frollo wanting Esmerelda. o_O I was like, "Whoa, what then?" XD And there's deathness, and religion, and thieves....and stuffs. It's almost like watching a real movie if you take the gargoyles out.

I hadn't watched that movie in a while too, but when I found the VHS i was like "I need to watch this" XD but I was busy drawing and thus not paying much attention...so I gotta watch it again. But i LOVE the music, i got the 3 Disney's Greatest hits CDs and there are some Hunchback songs on them. I've had Out There stuck in my head all day
