Is it worth it to buy A bait? Ive tried it a few times and caught the same line up as F would. Am i just unlucky?

I was told by Kykeon that:
You can use F bait three times and it will have the effectivness of A bait.
Then you cna use 2 D bait that act like A bait.
ANd after those 5 baits only A will act like A. (only means less trash and some times more rare fish. but by more i mean three or four more)

err.. did I say that? It's actually the first 2 F act like A baits, not 3. Then the next 2 D act like A baits... then after that you'll pretty much have to use A bait if you want to have the same effects of A bait...
Makes sense to me about the A bait.. don't think A bait would degrade at all.. because.. it's supposed to be the pinacle of all baits, yes? razz Don't put words in my mouth, wicked! Especially if they're not right heh
I'd only say A bait is worth it if you're going for the trophy... and don't expect to get a junk trophy if you're going to be using it all the time. When you use A bait, you should be using Distance + to greater increase your chances of catching bigger fish for the maximum reaping of pointage wink

foolish... basic rod is jsut as good as any other rod. unless your going for a trophey or a lot of rares.

I have this insane ability to know exactly what I've got (except I can't tell the different bits of trash apart)

due to the insane cost of A bait I am beginning to wonder if the cost versus profit ratio is there

In terms of profit... you definitely don't want A bait. It's not uncommon to fish like, 6 A buckets in a row and not get a single boldur... getting similar buckets as you would with D bait.
So, yeah... A bait = trophy/rare hunting. In the end you might not even notice or think you're losing out after selling all your fishies, but you are... whee
