The Last War that will reveal the truth... The Helenia Empire...fashioned from the Void by the will of the Angelus and blessed from it's creation, the empire stands at the heart of the civilized world--a cultural wellspring in a sea of barbarity. The Czeichezvahne Empire (pronounced "Chigh-kez-vän")...an Island Nation of equal proportion. Though a military civilization, it holds it's own secrets that are just waiting to be discovered... These two Empires are at war, a War that is predicted by many of the residents on both sides as the Final War. Helenia fought for Power; Czeichezvahne fought for Equality. Many have fought and died to end it and some were forced to choose between the two. All that stands between these two great Empires is you. Will you choose a side? Or will you fight for both Power and Equality? Make your choice wisely...for your story begins here... Alright, the Rules: (Make a U-turn if you don't like 'em) 1. Follow Guild and Gaia ToS 2. Profiles My Profile:Shinoko Queen Name: Niveus Traeyul Race: Antediluvian Class: Necromancer, Swordfighter, Gunslinger Weapon(s): - Revolver x2- Zweihander Sword = AtrumAppearance: Nivéus AngelusPersonality: A woman of few words, Niveus is known as a persistant instigator who will pest until she gets a firm and truthful answer. As well as being a woman of abnormal, aesthetic beauty, she is in every way homicidal when she wants, a trait that is mislead by her soliditary-like behavior. Having spoken in Antediluvian or the "Tongue of the Angelus" (known to her kind by that name), she speaks with a Latin or Spainard-like accent, which adds to her Latin-looking appearance. She's always on her guard; whether it be an elder or a child, Niveus keeps her ears sharp. She's overconfident in battle, but very self-composed outside battle, which confuses her opponents very quickly. She tends to be very subservient to people of higher power and is very obedient. Her mannerisms are somehwat brooding; she often attaches herself to people who she feels aren't a threat to her. She's very determined, although she is very hardheaded at the same time. Her well known personality trait is her selflessness; she puts everyone's lives before her own. Bio: Nivéus Traeyul, affectionately known as Nivéus Angelus, was a daughter of an exiled queen from Czeichezvahne and a Priest from Helenia. The youngest out of three children, she grew up without both parents; her mother died of a suicide, her father was assassinated mysteriously. All types of suspicion was placed upon her and her brother, more so on Niveus. As a result of being banished from her home by her brother, the new Head Priest, she hid for many decades. When she decided to return to her monastary, her brother Draco was there, threatening to kill her. As an added complication, she she was forced to duel her brother, which tragically resulted in Alyo sacrificing her life to save Niveus. Draco caught up with her when she fled and purposely "killed" Niveus, supposedly ending her life in a field outside the Traeyul family's Monastary. She remained "dead" in the field for two centuries until she was revived by a nobleman named Deunan Taros. After being nursed back to health, she vowed revenge for her sister, trying to keep the promise she made to Alyo. Alliance: Neutral (Losing Consciousness) Name: Aeode Deramti Race: Siren Class: Military general Weapon(s): Long, curved silver scimitar with a handle inlit with saphires Her voice - Aeode can put most men into a stupor just by speaking the right way, and she could sing them into doing just about anything she wants them to if their will isn't very strong. Appearance: Aeode has waist long, straight silver hair and utterly icy blue eyes with long black lashes. She is very tall, her limbs long and elegant as well as her hands. Her skin is incredibly smooth and creamy white. She appears to be in her mid-twenties, roughly. Her figure is gorgeous, and she is all around ideally beautiful. Even when she is working as a mercenary, she wears long, flowing gowns, usually in shades of silver or white. She almost appears as a ghost when wearing such a garment. Personality: Aeode's personality is difficult to describe, because she's very unpredictable, to the point that 'bipolar' might be an accurate description. Usually, she's very graceful and acts delicate, even when the only ones around are women. The drop of a hat, though, may trigger a drastic change in her demeanor, making her suddenly less elegant and more dangerous, much less innocent and sweet and seeming instead likely to murder you at any moment. Bio: Aeode was born, as sirens are, not from a man and a woman but from the waves of the sea, full grown, in a way not unlike that of the goddess Aphrodite. By reckoning of how long it has been since that time, Aeode is no more than five years old, but being that she was 'born' not only with the body of an adult, but with a mind to match, she is as sophisticated as any human who has lived four or five times her actual 'age.' As most sirens do, she spent the first two years of her life calling to sailors on the beach so as they might crash their ships, an exercise done primarilly for sport for the rather cruel species. Unlike most sirens, though, she found something that had been gone from their lives for a long time - emotion. Once, a shipwreck landed very close to the rocks where they languished, and amid the distressed sailors lured to the spot was a young man who Aeode fell in love with the instant she met his eye. Hardly even knowing what love was, Aeode was curious, distraught in fact, and dove into the water to rescue him. She lifted him from the waves and carried him - literally - away to Helenia, to see if he could explain to her why she felt such a need for him. Near drowned, the man was not able to even talk to answer her for several days. Once healthy, he told her as best he could what love was, and that that sensation was most certainly what had transpired between them on the beach. He also told her his name - Arieh. And since there was no going back for Aeode, or for Arieh for that matter, the two of them decided to stay together in the home that she had taken him to (as if a choice had existed.) For a full year, the two of them were lovers, and they were happy together. Then the war began, and it had barely gone on for weeks when Arieh lost his life to an attack on their town. Aeode, devoid of the only thing that had ever given her life meaning, given her any emotion to feel at all, swore vengance on the kingdom that had done it - but not before the grief of his loss had made her completely insane. She joined the ranks of soldiers at once, and with her amazing skill, climbed the ranks quickly, eventually becoming a full fledged general. Alliance: Helenia ~Kenta Drain~ Name: Kenta Ragnarok Race: Demon Class: Swordsman, Gunslinger, Wanderer Weapon(s): Custom sword, USP x2, Energy Cannon Appearance: KentaPersonality: Kenta is a funny guy, and easy to get along with, Loves Ramen, Is serious when it comes to battle Bio: Kenta grew up an outcast, and was taken in by a martial arts teacher. He grew up learning martial arts and swordsmanship. When he was 19 he learned he had powers. He accidentally blew up his father and his school when his arm turned into a cannon. ((Looks like I have to get this thing rollin' on my own, huh?))
Niveus' eyes was transfixed on the revolver in her hands, the Book of Mortus in the other. She stands in the middle of the marketplace, looking up at the faces that passes by her.
Don't they see it? Don't they see what is happening to our world?
She shakes her head and quickly shields the revolver into her cloak, hurrying along the pathways to the church she frequented. The Priest she worked for stood there, alarmed by her presence.
"Niveus...calm down...what is wrong, child?"
"Father Samael...I could see it...I could see the horror that my brother has brought upon us..." she replies, almost falling against the middle-aged man. "This War might be--"
"Niveus...please...no more talk of this War...I've grown tiresome of it..."
"NO!" She tosses the book to the floor in anger. "Why doesn't anyone see that we're destroying ourselves in the process? Thats what they want! Helenia wants Czeichezvahne to destroy itself inside out!" She rises to her feet and starts to back away. "For too long I sat by and watched Czeichezvahne wither away under Helenia's twisted hand...I will not chose a side in this War..." She turns away, clenching her fists until they bleed. "If you of all people, Father Samael, cannot see what they are doing...then you are blind..." She storms out of the church, leaving the book she was carrying behind.
