What do you think of that saying? I thought of it a little while ago, and I think it quite humorous. ^^

Yes, humourous definitely. Sarcasm level at an all time high.
I still love my username. Such a great paradox, I've never seen anyone use it as an example.
Most probably because the average person wouldn't know the meaning behind both words. rofl

Actually, I do live in America. sweatdrop It's a great country an all, but so many problems. I'm not fond of the culture, either, which mainly why I'm poking fun at it.
The average person would be confused by it. I even said it to some of my above average friends, and they didn't understand the meaning of "ethnocentric" and didn't know that "synonymous" is a conjugation of synonym. confused It's just as well, though. If you dont' understand the words, then you won't want to understand the meaning of the phrase.

That couldn't be more true.
And I live on Eglin AFB, Florida, with my all military family. xd
And I really don't like it here. I want to go to Europe, where people walk, and the girls look good. But don't get me wrong, my girlfriend is beautiful. Course....she hates America, and is entirely European.....
I saw a picture, which, I'm ashamed to say, fits nicely with the world. It showed a young, maybe 20 year old woman, with a thong showing out of the back of her pants. Under it, it said "Europe". It looked sexy.
The other part of it showed a picture of a woman, most likely the same age, showing off an identical thong. Only she was fat. Under it, it said "America"

Well, a lot of people don't know what both antonym and synonym mean. That is why everyone should know what it means if you're a member of this here fine guild. =D Also, Elena just to bring up one issue... Don't use "lol". Ever. No text talk allowed. On our home page is the three views of this guild, one of which being: Guild Home Literacy (the use of) - The ability to use language in an accomplished and efficient way. Haha, Victoria, I don't think the "(sarcasm)" was necessary, but thanks. =P Switzerland is great! A lovely place to live. Never been to Canada. Oh, and yes I live in Britain. England to be precise. South England to enhance my precision. Hampshire, if I were to over exert the precision used. Fareham to be at my penultimate degree of precision. 5 St. Michael's Grove to reach the climax of my precision for this matter. I used a different phrase in each. xd

Haha, that does have a level of truth to it. Of all the places I've been, my town has to be the most silently racist, and my neighbors? They have to be the most ethnocentric people I've ever met. And I've met quite a few people.
One of these days, I plan on moving to Germany. Or something along the likes.
Antonymic, I highly doubt people with at least a Middle School education wouldn't understand your username. :b

I'd love to move somewhere else like Europe or Japan, but I feel as if I need to stay in America to change things for the better. I'm learning how to subtly teach people how to do things in my science class(es). Last year, this dude who was obviously very desparate for attention tried to "flirt" with me by stringing together sentences filled with big words he obviously didn't quite understand. I showed him through my reactions that I would pay more attention to him if he treated me normally. He learned. Then this year, I just recently got placed next to this guy who enjoys trying to copy my answers. Before Christmas, we were taking a quiz, and although I tried covering my test, he still was able to copy. When I got to the second half of the quiz, I started writing in code so he couldn't understand my answers. When I brought it up to turn in, I started translating my answers - the funny thing is, is when my teacher asked what I was doing, and I told her that I was translating my answers, she didn't even comment on it, and went on her merry little oblivious way. Today, we got a worksheet which was fairly easy, and I put it away to do at home so he couldn't copy. I then showed him how to do it, and he completed part of it fairly quickly. I then worked on explaining that it's okay to use your brain - it's a waste not to. Did I mention that I think he gets through school by cheating and copying off others? But yeah, I think I'll eventually be able to cure him of his habit and get him to use his brain - from what I saw today, he's actually fairly smart, even if it IS easier to copy.
I feel like I just bird walked. =P Well, that's America's youth for you to see. xp

Yeah.. In my school Science is synonymous with cheating. >.< This girl, who's not the.. Brightest crayon in the box, was cheated off of someone who's actually fairly smart. And the girl who cheated? She never stops kissing up to the teacher. And I mean never.
Oy! I get to go to the U.K.~! My dad works for a banking company, and his boss agreed for me to come along. Woop! Sorry, I'm pretty excited. xD

Don't go to Canada. They are French.
My friend Payne (last name) is part French. ....Wait, I can't say the rest, as it has to do with me insulting his lasting time. And medically, it has been proven to be true. Sorry, I am a senior, and I am lucky to get my mind up to the gutter when dealing with those kind of things. But, as I hope to prove here, I can rise above that when the call comes.

It would have been even more difficult to have to suffer through next year when I'm a year smarter and more mature. xp Although at the same, I really wish I had taken Chemistry instead, since it sounds fun.
