This forum is nearly the same as the main forum, but all threads much keep a roleplay related theme.

Roleplaying Rules

These can be found in the tutorial, but not in any one specific place in the tutorial. It's Nevi's own personal trick to get you to read the whole thing. She designed it for both newer and more advanced roleplayers, and there is something in there for everyone to take away. It's also the thread for questions relating to the guild, and you can learn some nifty facts about your crew, and look at blackmail photos. It's pretty user friendly.

Friending Nima

Nima Sonam is one of the Channel Q Newspeople in Delmor, and one of the crew's accounts. She is going to be used to send out random updates to people in the guild, and it is important that every member of the guild friend her.

Donating to the guild

If you wish to make a donation to the guild, send a trade to the account Captain Pasty. This is because we would prefer to use the balance for funding contests, and if you donate it directly to the guild then the crew has no way to access the funds. There is a link to open a trade with Captain Pasty on the guild homepage, or access his profile through the memberlist, he's crew.

To Get an Event featuring your character on Channel Q News

Send a PM to Nima Sonam including the details you would like on the news. Since Channel Q News is the main source of News in Delmor this is a good way to let other roleplaying characters know if your character has been up to something big or has arrived on the scene in a spectacular manor. The details you included will then be posted in the next Channel Q News Update.

Make Sure to Check in With the Recruit Thread!

Captain Pasty is running his own Recruiting Thread to try and stir up some new heroes. It would mean the world to him if you could stop by and discus the Role Play a little. He doesn't expect you to do something for nothing, however, and has promised to run contests to win gold and prizes!

Woohoo! New thread: January 1, 2007

Woohoo! We have a new thread for announcements! Fortunately for me, this threads purpose and other various elements are explained in depth in the posts prior to this one, so i have got much more to do!

Nevi has asked me numerous times to mention the roleplaying tutorial. There are links to it everywhere, its not all that hard to find. Maybe you all should go read it, it is going to become more important later, especially if you fail to follow the updated set of rules.

On that note, thank you all for being patient as LoSI undergoes its changes. We, teh crew, are hoping that it makes the roleplaying experience better for all involved, and we've been hard at work on these changes for over a month now.... It's all for the best though, enjoy it!

It's been a mixture of bad connections, no connections, vacation, and homework that has been keeping me from my weekly announcements. Truth be told, I really shouldn't be on now. But I am, and I've got stuffs to say.

First and foremost, I have continued to be lax on the "One Week, One Post Rule." I'm getting on that this week, I swear. For more details on that, check my February 11 Weekly Announcements.

Secondly... Well, there really is no secondly. That's all I've got right now. So, until next week, keep your eyes on this thread and keep up the awesome work!

Weekly Announcements: March 25, 2007

Another week, another forgotten inactive member culling. Oh well, on to more important stuff.

I am making a slight change to the rules regarding multiple characters. Now, non-crewmembers can apply for second characters. How do you "apply," you ask? It's really easy; simply PM me with a message that says something along the lines of "May I have a second character?" I will decide based on factors like how active you are, how strong your character is, and (largely) personal opinion whether or not you can. If I decide you can, send me a profile. Keep in mind, however, that I will be harsher on your second character than your first. The fact that I'm letting you have one means that I have great expectations for your work.

Weekly Announcements: April 8, 2007
So a bit of a big deal, I just finished a fully animated advertisement for our beloved LoSI, I think it's pretty sweet, and I'd like you all to check it out and tell me how you feel.
In other news, It's becoming finals season for us college folks, but don't be upset. Why not be upset? because even during finals season, I'll have more time that I will during this summer, so you can be upset then. Chapter 1 should be finishing soon, but unfortunately Saint is not as experienced as me in not really caring about finals season, so it will may run into some humps. However we can still play around this, as Mayday is, by interacting with your fellow members in stuff outside the story. Remember, while our plotline is really interesting and fun, it is not the be all and end all of the game, that's why we made it multi-thread like this, so make your own stories, we've already had a few people (Dr. Clean, for example went all-out in this regard) do this and they all ended up super cool.
In other news, now that Mr. Animation is finished, I'll have time to get back in the game a little, and hopefully work some on a huge plot synopsis. So stay tuned!
Also Saint might yell at me for doing this and write his own weekly update, so read that too.
