Here's my own 3nodding (watch out, this one's a waaaall XD)

Well, last year, I was in summer school for the first time ever. I wasn't exactly thrilled about it, but I liked it better because I got a different teacher.

Every so often I saw this guy hanging around. He was really handsome in my eyes. I guess secretly I wanted to make at least a friend there, seeing as I went to an all girls school and my guy friends had been practically wiped out since.

But unluckily for me, I suck at making friends, especially irl. So anyway, I kept to my quiet self.

Then one morning that guy was helping with repairing a ceiling in the hallway. He was talking about loving a girl. That really struck me, because at that time I figured all teen guys REALLY wanted was sex. Buut that got me scared he had a girlfriend.

A week or two later I was sitting in the hallway like usual, waiting to get in class. He happened to walk by and said hello to me. I was shocked, but managed to get a 'hey' out. That seriously made my day. He had such a nice and caring tone to his voice. I think it was a tuesday that happened...

Well, that night I wrote a note that I planned to give him the next day. It basically said thanks for saying hello, because... I'm not exactly a popular person. And I couldn't talk to him without making a fool of myself (I have a speech impediment) so I decided writing a note was better.

Yes well, I never summed up the courage to give it to him until FRIDAY. XD In the meantime, we had been exchanging smiles... that made me happy too. Plus I learned his name by eavesdropping-- his name is Mark. But anyway... I was walking down the hall and he was coming down the hall at me. I figured it was now or never, so that's when I gave it to him. He took it, walked passed me a bit while slowing down and started reading it. I sat at my usual spot and watched him. He stopped, told his friend he'd catch up with him later and walked over and sat down with me.

We talked as long as we could there, and I found we had a lot of things in common. Not only that, he didn't mind my speech at all. I was so glad for that.

Next week, the last week of school, He asked me out to lunch on thursday. at borders (a book store for those of you who don't know). I didn't treat it as a 'date' persay, I could only wish. We continued to talk until then...

Thursday soon came. We ate a bit at the cafe, hung out sitting in the comfy chairs for a bit with some books to read. We both 'convientantly' bumped our arms together every so often, it was fun X3.

Soon after we went back to the cafe just to talk a bit. At somepoint the conversation got to the following (unfortunately I don't remember what he said right before this):

Me: Well... I guess you could say I'm struggling on whether or not I should go with what my heart says.
Mark: ...And what is your heart saying?
Me: That I really, really like you, Mark.

He sat there for a few seconds looking kind of shocked. I honestly hadn't planned on confessing so soon, especially when I hadn't known him for long. But then he said... he liked me too, and held my hand.

I suppose that's when it really started, on July 6th. He was 17 and I was 14 then. (We both had birthdays in august though XD) But yeah. That's my story. I look forward to reading others'! Sorry mine was so long...

i met my boyfriend (adam) when i first started secondary schhol (age 11) my friend craig and he were in the same classes and they became friends, and craig introduced us. we quickly became friends and all hung out in a big group... i was the only girl sweatdrop lol. one of our friends (callum) liked me and asked me out but he was really immature (and he hasnt changed at all in 5 years! but now everyone hates him because he's so childish!) anyway, i turned him down.
adam and i became closer and closer, and even though i liked other boys and they liked me, adam always stood out, there was always something different about him.

so one night (21st dec 04) me, adam, craig and some other friends went to see a movie. adam and i knew we both liked each other by this point and i put my head on his shoulder during the movie.
on the way home it was cold so he gave me his coat. we held hands on the bus and linked arms while he walked me home! it was so sweet and romantic!
the next day he asked me out (over msn, but he was shy, he'd never asked anyone out before) and we've been together ever since!

@ Amy: I would just like to say that I am proud to be yours and Adams' friend in real - life (we are in some of the same classes) smile you make such a great couple! *hugs*

lol, but it's supposed to be a happy day! (i know this has nothing to do with anything, but im trying to go to bed and people keep sending me messages and posting new things and wanting to be accepted to the guild it's crazy!) lol but i love it. guess i'll be on for a while...

I met my husband at the bar I was working at. He had just gotten out of the Marine Corps. There was just something about him that kept drawing me to him. He is a pretty shy guy at first. So I gave him my number... It took him ummm... about 2-3 weeks to call me!

So I talked to a friend of his, asked him to tell *J* to call me. Well he finally did.... I had just gotten home from work, and I had stayed a bit, drank a few drinks. A few too many! LOL Anyway, we talked for like 3 or 4 hours the first night. I am surrprised I could even remember the conversation.

He had asked me out to dinner. I dragged him to Walmart so I could get a new purse. God love him! He waited patiently until I found the perfect one. After that we were pretty much inseparable. We never really said, "We are a couple now" or anything. We just kinda fell into place. We officially started dating in Jan '05.

Oct. of '05, We found out I was pregnant. My son was born Apr. '06, we got married May '06. And here we are today, just as happy as ever.
