Hello topbumpers, this is the 1st colorbump newsletter!
Once in a while, I will send all the friends of The_Colorbump a newsletter with recent changes and what's new. Since this is the first one, it's kind a large letter, I'm sorry for that. Anyway, have fun at the colorbump!


2. Updates
2.1. Topbumpers
I updated the topbumpers yesterday, 10/17, after two weeks and a half. I'm sorry it took so long, but I have a lot of work for school. In the future, this might happen again. (for example, in january when I have my first exams) Don't panic, unless stated otherwise on the first page and sent to you in a newsletter, you will always get your money. In meanwhile I want to thank you all for so much bumping.
The previous update there were some major changes at the top. 3 news in the top 20, 1 re-entry in the top 10 and changes in the top 3. Johvalo entered at 3. Former nr. 3, greenjam became nr. 1. To see all topbumpers, look at the first page, all multibumpers will appear in the journal of The_Colorbump. More about that later.

2.2. Dice game
Same remark as earlier about the dice game. Ignis too, has quite some work for school. We'll try to keep up, but patience is sometimes necessary. Luckily you all have been patient so far, I really appreciate that.
The first period in the dicegame ended by now, winner was our new nr.1 greenjam! Congratulations. To have at least 2 different winners every month, greenjam can not win the 2nd period that has started by now. The winner of this 2nd period will then not be able to win the 3rd period, and so on. More about the dice game on the first page.


3. journal of The_Colorbump
3.1. Topbumpers
The journal of the colorbump will contain more and more everytime. I'm planning to put the topbumpers post in there too, but then with all multibumpers in it. At the moment, all multibumpers can already be seen in the 2nd post of his journal. For questions about the topbumpers you can PM The_Bartner, Fem_chan, Stout_Wolfje or Gemene_Koala.

3.2. Dice game
The results of the dice game will ONLY appear in the journal of the colorbump, not on the first page of the thread. Only the name of the winner will end up at the 1st page. For questions about the dice game you can PM The_Colorbump, ignis6669 or The_Bartner.

3.3. Newsletters
This newsletter and also the later ones will be published in the journal of The_Colorbump too, you can always check them there again. If you don't want to receive a newsletter by PM, or not anymore, then go to friends, search user: The_Colorbump, and click remove me. You'll not be on his friendslist anymore and as a result of that not getting his friends@gaia PM's anymore.

3.4. New features
There are some new ideas I have, that will start soon. They will always be declared in the first post and in a newsletter. All explanation about them will always appear in the journal of The_Colorbump.


4. New Ideas
4.1. The Colorbump parliament
4.1.1. The idea
People who know a lot about The Colorbump and have been there for a long time, can decide about new changes. For that, I have made a system of 99 votes, that are spread over some topbumpers. If more than 50 votes are a yes for that idea, it will be done, if not, that idea won't appear in real. Small remark: I always have to approve the idea myself, the parliament can't change things I don't want to, logically, since it's my thread. For that, I also don't have a vote in the parliament either. More about its work, in 4.1.3.

4.1.2. Who can vote?
I made a system like this: 11 of the 99 votes are divided among the co-hosts, 22 of the 99 votes among the people that have been here for a long time, 66 of the 99 among the people that have bumped a lot, spreaded almost in proportion with their number of bumps (if you want to know the exact system, PM me, it's the same system used in Belgian politics.) This are the people in the parliament and how much votes they have.

4.1.3. How does it work?
When you have a new proposal, you PM it to me.
A new proposal that I like, will be send in a newsletter to everyone and put in the journal of The_Colorbump. Everyone can comment it there. If you are in the parliament, to vote yes for a proposal, you just comment that proposal in the journal with a yes (or a yes and some more comments.) Same for a no.
Once we have more than 50 votes, (for example ignis, candledark, greenjam, Fem_chan and TaiFengShin commented yes 14+11+11+10+8=54>50) I'll get the proposal ready for use. In a real parliament, people get paid for doing it, here too. Members of the parliament who raise their voice and comment the proposals, get some more gold from me when I update the topbumpers. (That will be not much, I'm thinking about 50-250g if you commented between two updates.)

4.1.4. Yes or no for this idea?
First task for the parliament is, what do you think of the idea of a parliament? Update in the journal of The_Colorbump about it soon. Comments welcome.

4.2. A Colorbump quiz
4.2.1. The idea
There will be a quiz, with quotes out of the colorbump and questions about the colorbump. The winner(s) can get nice prices, I'm still thinking about something. Maybe just gold, maybe some other stuff.

4.2.2. How does it work?
There will be a lot of questions to answer about the colorbump. The one with the most right answers wins. There will be one question on which everyone has to guess to point a winner in case of ex-aequo. All the questions will be posted in the journal of The_Colorbump, maybe also on the first page, I'm still thinking about that. Then everyone has a certain time to solve them. Off course, me, my mule and Fem_chan, my gf will not enter the contest.

4.2.3. Extra questions and voting
I have a lot of questions yet, but still searching for some. Do you know a memorable quote of someone in the colorbump or a typical way of bumping that could be a question? Also some other facts about a topbumper, can be a question. (For example: What is the real name of The_Bartner?) PM The_Bartner please (NOT The_Colorbump!) with your question(s) and the answer(s) to it/them.
Last but not least: does the parliament think this is a good idea? Comment in the profile of The_Colorbump about it!

4.3. Feedback
4.3.1. The idea
I wanted to have some feedback on everything of the colorbump, first page, donation, dice game,... For that I made a form which you can answer. That form is in 4.3.2. and in the journal of The_Colorbump. If you want to answer it, please post your answers in a comment in the journal of the colorbump please.

Hello topbumpers, this is the 3rd colorbump newsletter! A very small one this time, but do read it please, it can be useful.

2. Weekly quiz
Are you all ready? In less than 3 hours now, the first questions for the weekly quiz will appear on the first page of the Colorbump! First topic: Halloween. All information about it in the 5th post on the 1st page. I wanna thank TaiFengShin, she thought of the concept, hosts this quiz and makes most of the questions, to be short, she's the woman behind it! *applauds*

3. The Halloween Colorbump
The Halloween Colorbump was, at least, that's what I think, a success. For statistics and the topbumpers of the halloween colorbump, look at pg. 2 in the Colorbump. But what do you all think about it. Everyone, especially the parliament can leave their comments in the journal of the colorbump. Topbumper became Blackwing Rose, she had exactly 2 posts more than elfnprincess, nr. 3 is for Narconasis. There will also be an update of the topbumpers any moment now. All bumps made in the Halloween one also count in the normal one, the same for 100's rolled. (I know some people weren't sure about that)

4. The parliament
As I said in the previous letter, I thought about a new concept for the parliament and some statutes. All the details about it in the previous newsletter and the journal of the colorbump. We have now 10 members, as soon as the statutes are approved, it is official.

2. Updates
2.1. Topbumpers
I try to keep up as much as possible. Yesterday, I updated the topbumpers again and sent the trades. I don't know when the next update will be since I have quite some work for school. On the 2nd page, I also posted all multibumpers nr. 101-500.

2.2. Top dice rollers
Also new on the 2nd page, a list with the top dice rollers in the previous periods, this is the sum of all 100's you ever rolled. They are together in a post with the averages scores in the weekly quiz.

3. Dice game
3.1. Small changes in rules
I wanted to change this already at the beginning of this period, but forgot it. 2 small changes, both in case of a tie:
1. If one (or more) of the persons in the tie hasn't won in the past and the other(s) have, the one(s) that haven't won yet, go first.
2. If that is the same for both, the person with the highest amounts of 100's in the past (top dice rollers) wins. Only after that, we look at the most 100's in the previous period.
Reason: 1. to give people that haven't won yet a little bigger chance.
2. easier to check for us and rewards regular dice rollers more.

4. Weekly quiz
4.1. Easier this week/problems last week
The new quiz is online. After the first week, we had too few submissions for the previous quiz, so we let it on a bit longer. There were also some remarks about too difficult and unclear questions. This period, the questions should be much easier.

4.2. New ideas welcome
What can we do to make the quiz more attractive to users? All ideas and suggestions are welcome. You can PM them to me, TaiFengShin and The_Colorbump or even better: comment them in the "The Colorbump Quiz" entry in The_Colorbump's journal (go to his journal and click archive to view all entries)

5. New proposition
5.1. Tektek The_Colorbump
5.1.1. How will it work?
This is the idea: The_Colorbump, our colorbump mule, isn't really representative for the Colorbump at the moment. So, we will have a tektek contest. How does The_Colorbump has to look? The best entries will be rewarded off course. More information will appear in The_Colorbump's journal under "Tektek The_Colorbump"

5.1.2. Persons behind it
Fem_chan had the idea for this contest and will be the host. Co-hosts will be Gemene_Koala and The_Bartner. Together we will also be the jury.

5.1.3. Remarks + voting
For the parliament: yes or no for this idea? Remarks? Commenting can be done under the "Tektek The_Colorbump" entry in the journal.

6th Newsletter

Hello!
This is what this newsletter is about:

1. The two main reasons why there weren't any newsletter anymore are: a) it's not possible anymore to send to friends@gaia. b) Most information is gathered in the guild. So, everyone that is interessed in what changes in the colorbump, I suggest to check the colorbump guild every now and then. You can also win or get money there and we have a new RP-subforum!

2. Most of you probably know this already too: I don't do all the counting myself anymore. It's too much work and I can't keep up with it. At this moment, 2 wonderful girls help me with it: Mommette and Pacifica san, but more help is always welcome. You can check the guild for that (the counters topic) or PM me (The_Bartner) for more info.

3. Every event, I will create an event colorbump. The link will always appear in the first post of the original colorbump and in the guild.

4. The TekTek contest has a lot of delay at the moment, I'll try to finally start it as soon as possible. The reason of this delay is that all hosts and co-hosts of it (me, Fem_chan and Gemene_Koala) are very busy lately. Sorry!
