This is just a place where you can all congregate your ideas of premarital sex. Now, try and keep it appropriate, because we don't want to start any fights within the guild or anything. So, just tell us where you stand on the subject of premarital sex, and explain. Feel free to include stories to back up your opinion.
*Note: This is NOT any sort of attempt to show "bobby so and so" is wrong because of what he thinks. We are not here to judge or tell you your opinion is wrong.

I think its ok to have sex before marriage. I mean some people might not even get marriage...and plus i mean...well its hard to explain sweatdrop

well..
for me it's very complicated.
i'm a cristian you see, but i'm not sure about the whole "sex after marriage" thing.. i'm pretty confused, lol, and i really don't know what to think anymore confused .

in my opinion sex before marriage is a good thing, it gives you experience. it's nice to wait until your wedding night, so that you can remain pure, but it's suposed to be special and enjoyable; if you've never had sex before it's going to be awkward and over quickly and there'll be a lot of fumbling about. not to mention possible embarassment if you've never seen each other naked before.
i think premarital sex is acceptable, if it's not against your moral or religious standards.
my plan is to use condoms up until marriage and then without on the wedding night (provided i stay with the guy im with now, i dont want any nasty infections) to experience 'real sex'. fyi i am on the pill so no unplanned babies...

I agree with you very much. However, I see sex as an after marraige thing because then it makes it so much more special. I see what you're saying though, and that's why I accept safe sex as ok for before marraige.

Sex before marriage I believe gives you more experience. It creates a more mature person in my personal view because if you have sex with one person and break up then go to another person it would be handled (not always) more maturely. cool Most people have sex before marriage because teenagers are curious. I can see why being "pure" on your wedding day is appropriate... but for me it's too traditional.

I'm a supporter of after marriage, for a few reasons:
*The guy I'm marrying better be pretty damn special or I wouldn't be marrying him in the first place, so it's kind of like... I want to reserve that for that special guy, even if I'm not as experienced.
*The only way to be ABSOLUTELY sure you won't get pregnant is through abstinance, correct? I sure as hell don't want a child with a guy that might end up leaving me later, making me a single parent in school. (As for BC pills and such, I'm horrible at taking pills, so it's nooot exactly an easy thing)
*I don't want to get caught and end up creating more tension in my family.
There's more that's related, but I'd probably get repetitive. They all tie together somehow, but I guess it comes down to that I'm too paranoid, I don't want a kid yet, and I want to be absolutely sure he's the guy I love that loves me back fully.

As long as they're safely doing it and aren't complaining to me about it- I don't really care.
I've always been iffy about marriage (it's a very sweet and romantic notion but I tend to get very pessimistic about any thought about it whatsoever). I'm not married, I'm not a virgin, and though I am comfortable with my sexuality- I exercise [a lot of] monogamy with my life partner. redface DONKEY PUNCH MILLY TO GET A STEAMBOAT WILLY
