I'm trying to figure out who did father Kovu, or at least come up with my own theory. Well, actually I DO have my own theory. My theory takes into account the events of the Broadway version, as well as reasoning to Nuka's jealousy towards Kovu and my own belief that Zira would never cheat on Scar.
During Scar's reign (after Nala left to find Simba) Scar selects Zira as his mate, and they have two children: Nuka and Vitani. A nomadic pride of lions traveled through the Pridelands, and their men randomly slept with Prideland lionesses, thus resulting in some more baby lions, born a day or two before Simba returned. Scar passed by all of the newborns and saw baby Kovu. He commanded Zira to raise the boy as her own to become his heir, even though Nuka, his firstborn son, was the rightful heir.
I needed to come up with a backstory for Kovu because I'm working on my own version of Lion King 2, where the lions are human and more serious cut-scenes are put back in.

2SkyDragon Hmmm, I like this! Are you making it a comic, or a story or an animation? Because I would so read/watch it! I think it's gonna be a story, but I'm working on character designs, too, so I'll post those as soon as I get access to a scanner.
