Choke, choke, choke she coughs and she sputters, and blood drips down her chin and stains her teeth she tries breathing in, only to cause more blood to come, gushing through nasal passages and spilling out her nose, coating her face in the rich rivers of crimson pain Bleed, bleed, bleed she shivers and she shakes, and closes her eyes in a last effort to block the pain the tremendous amount of physical, and emotional, pain that only suffices to destroy her very being threatening to cut her off from her steady flow of life and beauty Die, die, die she feels her heart being ripped out of her chest and knows that someone is there taking it but she is too blind to see, and though she feels a hand on her own, she feels alone her chest is torn open, and she lies on her back and she is dead but the hand, the betraying hand holds the dead girl's heart and the sad thing is, it's still beating.

It wasn't meant to be violent. The gore is an analogy to the despairing feeling of loss and loneliness.

I love the poem. It has a lot of emotion channeled through it. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that the poem is about a girl who has had her heart broken. I felt like this when I had my heart broken recently. You are a very developed poet to be able to write such poetry.

Why, thank you.
Yes. It's about a broken heart.
