mine is Romeo & Juliet the thing that caught my eye is the way they love eachother and wouldn't let anything get in the way, even their families. I've known about it a long time I used to read a book wit hall of Shakespeare's plays and I always read that one. I loved it.

As I said in my introduction, I don't have one play that was my favorite per say. but I really enjoy Othello. Iago was what caught my eye about this play. He is the ultimate bad guy! I read this play a while ago in a college Shakespeare class.

A Midsummer Nights Dream. What caught my eye was how fun it was to read the Shakespear text out loud. Also all of the faeires were amusing.

I thought Othello was a pretty intense play. Of course all of them are, but I liked this dramatic opus.

My favourite play is A Midsummer Night's Dream. One of these times was in the open air theatre in Regents Park in London, which was absolutely breath taking, and I love it because I like the faeries and the whole Titania and Oberon thing going on at the same time as the main plot is great.

At the moment, I'm in love with A Midsummer Night's Dream... but that's probably because I'm in a production right now. Otherwise, I don't think that I could choose a single favorite play, maybe Comedy of Errors (it's just so funny) or Macbeth (fascinating. Twisted, yet fascinating.)

I just finished Measure for Measure. a very intriguing play on justice and the like.
Much ado about nothing is also great. the banter between beatrice and benedick is wonderful.

So hard a question "The Taming of the Shrew" is defiantly a fave of mine. "Antony and Cleopatra" will always be close to my heart after me and my friends acted out a scene for our English class. "Much Ado About Nothing" is also a fave. and then you have "Macbeth"
Oh, I can't choose.

I hate when people ask me that! Henry V, Macbeth, and Much Ado About Nothing are always among my favorites. Sometimes Othello, Henry IV Part II, Richard III, The Taming of the Shrew, and Antony and Cleopatra are my favorites. I just can't pick.

In case anyone doesn't know (I make it pretty obvious) my favorite shakespeare play would have to be 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. I love the playfulness of it all, and it helps that I was stage manager for the play so I really developed a love for it.

I'm a huge fan of Hamlet and Richard III. Hamlet's soliloquies just give so much depth to his character that show him as a multi dimensional character. I've always liked stories with one character that truly develops and I admit to being a sucker for the Tragic or Absurd Heroes. The friendship of Horatio to Hamlet always struck me as truly great, as I have a friend who is comparable to Horatio and his last words to Hamlet were beautifully written.
And Richard III, the lines "A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!" I always thought to be commentary on the world we live in.
But I must say, all of Shakespeare's work is truly amazing and inspiring.

My favorite play is A Midsummer Night's Dream, without a second thought. Puck is amazing, and the play can be done in so many different ways while still staying trueto Shakespeare's vision. I can't say really how I discovered it, I mean, I loved it even as a child. I can't even imagine a time when I didn't love Midsummer Night's Dream, and for that matter Shakespeare in general. When I was little I used to see at least one version of Midsummer Night's dream a year with my family.
