From one of the roleplsays I’m in.
Lex sat in a black chair wooden that appeared for her comfort, the deal maker always gave the people who lead others to him something to sit in when they were feeling tired or needed just a little rest. The deal maker was a nice enough, whatever he or she was. She had been leading people to the deal maker for years now, he always granted them what they wanted, if they wanted to live again then they would live, if they wanted to go to heaven or hell they were there. Her time wasn’t here yet, she knew where to go to find him, but she wasn’t ready herself yet, she wanted to stay in Limbo awhile longer just so she could help others and find someone to go back with.

As she sat she kept her ankles crossed under the chair so that others walking around wouldn’t bump into them or trip over them. She had been wearing what she wore the day before she died, a pair of black dickies for girls that were twill and not stretch, a black shirt with Jack Skellington on it, and a black sweater with Jack Skellinton on it as well. Her shoes were black and gray with skulls on the sides. She watched others go by her walking on their marry way, some where happy some weren’t, but that’s how real living people were as well. She pushed her glasses up onto the bridge of her nose a little more since they were falling off. She took a deep sigh, her shoulders rising up with the breath and back down for the release. ’Why?’ Was the only word she could think of right now. Her memories flooded her mind, bringing back all the pain and suffering she had to go through to get here.

Another example:
Lex couldn’t believe she was on her way to a huge mansion, a place she would be living in for a few months. She didn’t care if she didn’t know the other people, she would be just fine even if she was on her own the whole time. She didn’t even care if there were going to be cameras all over the place, she would show them what a girl like her could do, she would show them an exciting show about a girl always doing something to get in trouble.

She closed her eyes and went over what she had done the day before. She had packed all of her clothing into a few suitcases that she had bought for cheap. They were anything special but everything fit inside them. She had been rooming with one of her somewhat friends, but her friend seemed to be enjoying the fact that she was leaving for a few months and might not return to her apartment. She didn’t care though, a real friend would be sad and wish her luck, all this friend said was good luck and closed the door on her face. She had called a cab once she got down the stair, the company knew that the television show would pay for everything so they sent her a nice cab; it didn’t even smell like puke or cigarettes. She guessed that it was one of their newer ones.

She opened her eyes and looked out of the window of the cab. Her gray eyes scanned the scenery. She was getting closer and closer to the mansion she would be living in. Her stomach felt like there were a thousand butterflies in it, she took a deep breath to calm herself down but it only seemed like more came. The cabby didn’t seem to notice her in the back seat but she didn’t want to talk to anyone anyways.

After awhile she finally saw the huge mansion. She couldn’t believe it, it was huge, the only ones she had seen this big were on movies, and she was in awe. Her bottom jaw dropped at the sight of it. Her eyes seemed to shine at the sight of it. It was a real home and she would be in it. She couldn’t believe how lucky she was. The cab drove up to the door and stopped smoothly. The cabby got out and went to the back to get her luggage to bring inside. She opened her door and stepped out. She was in a pair of her black pants, a black tank top, but over it was a black sweater. She wore the hood up over her face to hide her hair.

The short figure looked up the road with his bright coal colored eyes. He had come a long way to get here. The figure was short, barely breaking 4 feet, broad of chest and shoulders. A wollen cloak covered the purple tabard that diplayed the silver hammer of his clan. There was a slight tickling as the chain mail he wore moved with his steps. on his back was a large wooder shield with a purple field and a silver hammer in the center. At his side was a large warhammer. A dark wooden haft topped by what looked to be a brick of stone the hammer was scarred and pitted.
Approaching the monolithic building Drundar wasn't exactly impressed, but it wasn't a strcuture one saw everyday. Adjusting the straps of the pack over his shoulders he continued on towards his destination. He had heard that an academy was in need of professors and felt that he was quaified for the job. His thirst for adventure and fortune was no more. He had seen more than his share of blood and coin. He only wished that he could pass on the knowledge he had gained to the next generation.
Finally reaching the stairs he ascended them slowly. His heavy iron shodded boots
clinking with each step he took. Reaching the top he reached out for the heavy oak doors the led to the interior of the school. He realized that once he went in there may never agian be a chance for the glory and heroics that had permeated his life prior.
"BAH!! Ta hell with the adventures and blood shed!!! I deserve to grow old and drink my mead!."
With those words of encouragement he stomped into the school. His short muscular frame making an almost comical picture.
