This year Metrocon is July 6-8. I just think it's kinda strange, I mean it's a whole month later then last year. It really sucks for me personally, too, because now I can't go.

Oh crud. I'm going to have extreme jetlag. Rofl. (I'll be flying in from Anime Expo is just before that.)
That really does suck that you can't attend. Why not, if you don't mind my asking~?

It's no problem. I can't come because my step father is in the Navy and him, my mom, my little brother and me are moving to Hawaii. My mom and step dad are leaving in 3 weeks, but my brother and I are staying here to finish the school year. My brother is leaving in June and I am leaving on July 7th. So I can't go because I'll have to pack and my dad won't let me go that soon to leaving either. So me and my partner in con going (she's coming with me for a couple weeks) are stuck on a plane to the other side of the world while everyone is having fun crying crying . (wow that was kinda long... sweatdrop )

It does suck that ya can't come. But, its what the convention center had open. Even a year in advance its really hard to book space on the same weekend or near to it. Otakon had that issue this year as well. So its not just Metro. ^__^
