How many Rats are too many? I personally have had 5 rats to date and go with the potato chip theory, not that you can't have just one, but that the proper ammout is how many you can fit into a large bag without any breaking. How many do you guys own?

I've never had a rat but they are cute...oh but my kitty has killed one before 4laugh xd

It all depends on your situation in my opinion and the housing and time you can offer. I wouldn't have more than 2 at any given time for pets personally...>.> And I typically prefer only 1...>.< I love mice/rats/most all animals you can possible name and their food source. But I wouldn't want 20 >.< The Smell... would be really hard to keep up with ><

You can fix a rat? yes, actually it is good for them. It lowers the chances of your female rat dying by tumor by almost 70%! You can ask any of the multiple rat owners here (including me) and most of them will tell you they have had a rat die from a tumor. sad
