Ok guys and gals, I cooked this one up when I was first starting to journey into the astral plane. granted it wasn't an out of body experiance but it was what I used when I wanted to visit a god or goddess and as general protection from unhappy spirits (I seem to draw those in like a magnet).

ok I find it easier to do this in a meditative state, you may cast a circle if you want, just to rid out any negitive energy that may have attatched to you during the day.

So first get into you meditation and surround yourself with a gold, silver or white light, fill yourself with calm and serenity.

Now we start to accually build the armor visualize black and purple ribbons weaving around your astral self, they can be any thicknes you want and in any pattern, just make the weave tight(as in try not to have any gaps) It can be in bars or in the traditional over and under fashon, however you feel best. You can probably use any color you want but Black to repell and purple to protect seem to work well for me.

try to concentrate on making the armor one body part at a time. (first do one leg, then the other, then the hips to connect the seperate parts etcetra). Go all the way to the crown of your head, that includes covering the eyes, you can still see perfectly well. You may or may not include your hair, that is again up to you. try to make your armor fit closely to your astral self but be sure that you can still move. The first time I tried I wove too tightly and it was hard to move my astral body.

Now that your armor is complete you can again bathe yourself in your choice of light and test it out. If there is anything that is too loose or too tight for you change it.

Every few weeks your armor tends to work itself loose, sooner if you do a lot of travel on the astral plane. Repair is easy, just tighten the weave should it come loose or strengthen the bonds. And remember to use the light bath every time for an added boost.

another thing that helps it is to fuse the different colors together, just a simple aura bond is all it really takes.it helps it last longer and it also covers any cracks that may appear.

*shrugs* well if that works for you by all means use it, this is just a method I felt like sharing. I didn't exactly have dragons in mind when I thought of this. Or warfare for that matter.(I try to avoid fighting when I can)

a wooden shield, that's very interesting...

So what's all this about Astral warfare? It sounds rather unnerving to me.
