Well, first we get the intro video and then we actually switch to Luke in his
manor, looking outside the window.
Wait for him to get his bearings and then get used to the controls or
something before you head outside. Well, weird sound thingy then we go outside.

Head down to the center of the court and then right, enter the door there.
Talk to the maid there and she'll say you have a guest. So head down and
talk to Ramdas, the guy in brown by the window. He says Master Van is coming
and for you to go wait in your room, so head back. You should get your first
Skit here. None of them are voiced by the way, and there's lots of them.

More weird sounds, only this time accompanied by a voice too. Guy will then
show up. Anyway, scenes. We gotta go to the Drawing Room now. Go out to the
courtyard and left this time into the door, then head down. After the scene
here, you should get another skit. This is the last I will point out by the
way.

So yeah, head out to the courtyard. Battle tutorial. Just follow Van's
instructions and you should be fine for the most part. After that's done, Tear
will show up and hell breaks loose. Guy falls asleep, Tear tries to attack
Van but Luke sort of attacks her and both him and Tear cause this weird
portal-like thingy and are whisked away.

-[Nighttime in the Valley]-[Tataroo Valley]-

Well, you got Tear now. She can heal you by the way. Head down and you will
go into your first real battle. It's not too hard, simply smack the enemy
around with your sword and chain your hits with your Fang Blade.

Anyway, simply follow the only path down. Follow the river down and take the
left path. You should find an Apple Gel and an Orange Gel in the chests here.
Go back and keep heading down.

In the next screen you will get a tutorial on changing targets while in battle.
Once you are done, head down a bit and you should be able to spot the
treasure chest there. Find a way through the foliage to get a Cape. Equip it
whoever you wish for some extra defense. Then, head back up a bit and cross
the river to the right and follow the path for two chests, one with 300 Gald
and the other with a Life Bottle.

Go back and take the left path from where we came down and follow it to the
exit. Well, an event more like it. After it's done, go up to get the
400 Gald and save if you wish. Then go down and talk to the guy, go ahead
and accept.

Watch the battle going outside and then you'll be given the option to get
out or keep going with the coach to Engeve. Up to you if you want to fight
or not. If you walk, you'll get the tutorial on cooking along the way, I don't
know what happens if you say otherwise.

-[The Grocers' Hamlet, Engeve]-[Engeve]-

Well, if you took the coach, you land on the West entrance. If not, I suggest
you take the west entrance to town anyway.

Spaghetti Recipe
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Whatever the case might be, head to the west side of town and walk up to the
left-most house and Luke will mention something smells good. You can get a
more thorough explanation on cooking here before you head in. Talk to the
lady there and she'll ask you to go get some Miso. Accept her request and
then head out and right to the house with the watermill. Talk to the old
lady inside to get some Miso then go back to learn the Pasta recipe.

So, head outside the house and go right this time past the bridge where a
scene will trigger outside the inn. Go around the inn and where the merchants
are. Watch the event to learn how to use shops, in a way. Go back to the inn
(where the bunch of people is) and well...

Luke will be sort of branded for thievery and you will meet Jade and Ion
eventually. Once you are out, head back to the Inn and you'll meet Anise there.
"Kind of out of it?" (C) Anise Tatlin. I love how that sounds.
After she's gone, rest at the inn or buy some stuff if you need to.

Once you're rested, save if you wish and head outside.

Collector's Book
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go and talk to the man whom you almost stole an apple from and he'll ask you
to retrieve a box from the Cheagle Woods. We are going there, so what the
heck. Besides, it raises Engeve's TLP.

Anyway, leave town and head North to find the Cheagle Woods. Just look for a
large tree around the forest north of town.

-[Sacred Cheagles]-[Cheagle Woods]-

Once inside you will find Ion surrounded by three wolves, but he will easily
dispatch them with a Daathic Fonic Arte. Tear will receive the title of
Van's Sister here. As Luke starts to question her, a Cheagle will appear.

Anyway, first of, let's look for that box for the Collector's Book. Hug the
left from where we start and you will find a treasure chest with the Secret
Box inside. Head back down and then right and stick to the lower edge until
you see a path going down, leading to a chest with an Apple Gel.

Grab it and head back to where we went down. The exit we are looking for is on
northwest of this area, so head there.

Next screen, more events. Head to the left on the fork and to the next screen.
You see another Cheagle here. Follow the path to the entrance on the large
tree to find some food on the floor, examine it then go inside. Mieu will join
you now. Before we go out, head up the slope you see here. Ignore the first
exit and keep climbing up, then go out to find 200 Gald in the box there.
Go down and leave the tree.

You will gain access to Mieu's fire breathing abilities now. Go right and
around the tree and take the exit there to find a chest with an Orange
Gel and 500 Gald. Go back to the tree and leave south.

Head to the right and Luke will make Mieu burn the tree to make a path. Well,
sort of, you still have to do it in the end. Follow the path to the next
screen. Capacity Core time! Refer to the section above for more info on that.
Head right and up (no sense in going right, you can't do anything there yet)
and burn this next tree down.

Before you enter the Liger's Lair, go left for a Magic Lens. Now you can enter.
Travel down the roots and on the right side, before you head left and down,
look for a chest trapped in a bunch of roots. Burn it with Mieu Fire and go
down. Grab the Orange Gel to your left and then go right. Take the Life
Bottle and heal up using the healing memory circle, save, then go up.

BOSS BATTLE: QUEEN LIGER
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
HP : 10,200
Physical Attack : 76
Physical Defense: 83
Magical Attack : 72
Magical Defense : 80
Weakness : None
Resist : Earth, Wind

Rewards: Life Bottle, Sage.
EXP: 175.
Gald: 1000.

Yes, she has 10,200 HP. No, you don't need to wear it all down.
After you take anywhere from half to one fourth, Jade (in semi super God
mode) will appear and kick the Liger Queen around the battlefield.
Otherwise, just be sure to defend before attacking your three times and
using Fang Blade or Havoc Strike, your choice.

Once that's done with, grab the treasure chests here for a Life Bottle and
a Cutlass. Go back down to get the Technical Ring and then save, for the heck
of it. Then, make your way out. Now, we gotta go tell the Cheagle Elder, but I
suggest you detour back to the first area and take a path to the right we've
ignored for now to get the S Flag, then go to the Elder. Now, go ahead and try
leaving the place. And we are taken hostages...

-[The Tartarus]-[Tartarus]-

Interrogation time! So, seems Jade and Anise are trying to prevent war and
are requesting Luke and Tear's help. Talk to Anise and she will join you.
So yeah, look around if you wish, but go out, then enter the second door on
the left as you go up, in other words, the one closest to the stairs and get
the Apple Gel.

Head up to the deck if you want to talk to Jade and Ion, but return to the
guard in the room we started and agree to help. Man I love Jade and his
remarks...

Anyway, head out to the hallway and approach Jade for a scene to unfold.
Seems the Tartarus is under attack. Then, as Luke is trying to make a run for
it, this large guy shows up and hurls Luke back before Jade tosses a Fonic
Arte which is bounced back and almost kills Luke, who ends pinned up against
the wall by the giant guy. Jade will receive the title of 'Necromancer' here.

Jade then introduces Largo, the giant guy, in his own way to the party. So,
Largo tosses this box, a Fon Slot Seal, to Jade, making his stats leave
Super-God mode (so yeah, he drops to your level now) and then the two of them
duke it out.

You end up on deck, where there are enemies around. Climb up the stairs and go
inside the door there if you want to save. Fight the enemies around here then
climb the next ladder and follow the path.

Once you reach the door, Tear will put the guards to sleep and her and Jade
will go inside while Luke stays outside. Foolish as he is, he ends up waking
up a guard and goes into a one-on-one. Simply try attacking the soldier to
watch the next scene where Luke accidentally strikes him down and goes into
some sort of shock.

Jade and Tear will come out and wonder what the heck just happened before this
red-haired guy comes and kicks your asses in one fell swoop.

You'll wake up in a holding cell, after a small conversation on how Luke will
fight but not want to kill (Wait, what?) humans, Jade tosses this shiny little
thing to the bars and they go poof. Then he performs an emergency shutdown
to screw with the enemy.

From where we gain control, enter the door immediately to the right for a
healing save point, then exit and head down to the next door on the right.
You should find your weapons inside. Exit and head down to the left door.
Go inside to find yourself in a small crate puzzle.

I think it's easy enough to handle without directions, and you can find 1200
Gald in one, Styl (A Capacity Core) in another, and a Life Bottle in the last
one. Go out and head up the stairs. Jade won't let you, saying there's
something 'fun' in one of the rooms, so head down south to the last row of
doors and take the right one. Simple enough, move the crates and watch the
scene. Grab the chest first for a Long Sword, which you should equip on Luke
right away, then exit.

Climb up the stairs and head towards the door near the ladder going up (the
room I mentioned that had a save point). Watch. Guy will show up along the
course of the scene and whack Legretta. Every of the enemies go inside and we
are safe outside.

We gotta go to Saint Binah now. But first, make a detour to Engeve to return
the Box thingy for the Collector's Book. You should witness a scene along the
way without doubt. Ah yes, Guy's weird phobia. Fun times, fun scenes...
Fight time!

After the fight, as Luke tries to slay the Soldier, his sword is bounced and
deflected and is about to get retaliated on. Tear jumps in and takes the hit
while Guy finishes the soldier from behind. Luke gets the 'Frightful One'
title.

In the nighttime event, talk to everyone before Mieu and go to sleep.
Now, where were we? Ah yes, Engeve. Go there and get that book. Then head to
St. Binah. Follow the road South-east if you need.

You can't go in yet, since the Oracle soldiers are guarding the entrance, so
we need to find a Coach. You will go and look for the second coach
automatically, being driven by people from Engeve who will agree on helping
you.

-[The Citadel, St. Binah]-[St. Binah]-

Head outside the Inn. A weapon dealer is there, so feel free to upgrade your
gear if you have the Gald. Otherwise, head into the Malkuth Headquarters.
It's the large building across the flower field, the place guarded by
two, well, guards. Events~
You should get the World Map here.

Event time~

St. Binah's Tree
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go to the back of town and up the ladder. Examine the boxes there. Done.
Simple as that. XD

Gel Shop
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go to the medicine shop in the back of the town (near the ladder) and talk
to the guy on the left. He needs a Gel Base and some Cotton.
Gel Base is found south of Rotelro Bridge (The one destroyed by the Dark
Wings) in the Search Point there. Cotton can be found east of the Fubras
River, our soon to be next destination.
Go fetch them and return. I suggest you save before checking each Search
Point by the way. Return to the guy to get one Miracle Gel and he opens
up a shop.

Noir Fanclub - Part 1/3
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Head to the back of the town (well, you might be there already) and look for
a bulletin board near the entrance of the area. Use Mieu Fire until you burn
the poster there. This guy named Ayn will show up and wants you to go pay
his dues in Chesedonia and give you 200 Gald, but we'll get back to that
later...

Anyway, head to the entrance of town where an event will fire up with the
Six-God Generals. Before you leave, do rest at the inn. Then exit.
On a sidenote, Dist is weird.

St. Binah's Training
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go to the inn, again. Yes, sleep after you slept there once more.
Luke will drag Guy out for some sword training. Luke will learn Sonic Thrust.

Sandwich Recipe
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go to the eastern area and to the first house you see. Check the notebook
on the floor.

Now, leave town if you wish. To reach Fubras River, well... Walk west to the
post sign that has directions to Engeve and St. Binah, and head direclty South
from there. You are looking for a large stone-formation-like place near the
river.

-[The Fubras River]-[Fubras River]-

I swear, synopsis titles change with almost every area...

Anyway, head left to see a chest behind some vines. Burn them and loot the
Apple Gel. Head down for another scene. Jade will explain Fields of Fonons
here. After that's done, head straight right for another chest trapped in
vines. Burn them and get the Magic Lens.

Head down, a bit left and then up for another chest with 500 Gald, then keep
going left. Stick to the south to see the zone change.

Int he next screen, the river will push you a bit to your right, but nothing
too big. Stick to the left to see the easy-to-spot chest with an Apple Gel,
then take the right path of stones. In the landmass, there's a save point,
feel free to use it, but go up and right through the stone path and change
areas.

You will find an Iron Mail here. Go back down and from the piece of land where
the save point is, go the left and down, into the only rock path that is
actually complete. Head straight down for a Bracelet then go back up.
Take the right path here and keep heading right as far as you can for a chest
with 800 Gald, then go back a bit and take the exit down.

A scene with Arietta will trigger here. Seems she's against you because the
Liger you killed back in the Cheagle Woods was her mother. Fun stuff.
It would be almost fight time, but an earthquake triggers off and then this
miasma (a poison-like gas) starts spewing out.

Tear learns Force Field here to shield her allies from the Miasma. Jade is
about to strike Arietta while she's unconscious but Ion asks Jade to let her
go and well...

Once you recover control, start heading right to find a chest with an Orange
Gel, we just gotta free it first as usual. On the bottom left of this area is
a Life Bottle, and from there, start going north and follow the path. You
should nab 1600 Gald on the way to the exit.

In the world map, simply head South to spot Kaitzur on the horizon. Head
there. You'll go into another event on the way with Jade inquiring about
Tear's Hymns. Enter Kaitzur.

-[The Border Fortress, Kaitzur]-[Kaitzur]-

Head to the Inn if you wish then head down to the check point to find Anise.
Anise goes into cutesy-mode on Luke before Asch drops from out of nowhere and
sends Luke flying away. Just as he is going to strike him down, Van appears
and blocks him. Then flies away and Luke goes into happy mode.

So, go to the Inn to listen to what Van has to say. You learn a bit about the
Fonstones and get a Passport, huzzah.

Leave the inn and go south. Now you can cross. There's an equipment store on
the right area of the south section, but things are kinda expensive at this
point.
Keep going south and exit into the world map. Then start heading south to the
Kaitzur Naval Port.

-[Disaster at the Port]-[Kaitzur Naval Port]-

So, the port's under attack. Bet you didn't see that one coming! ...
Head left down the port and you'll find Arietta, who somehow recovered and got
here before us. Not only that, she wrecked the place AND kidnapped the main
engineer who is now in Choral Castle. And of course, we can't do a thing
without that engineer so I bet you know what we are doing next...

And no, listening is not the correct answer. Yep, we are going to the Choral
Castle. So head out and head east into the tip of the land to find the place.

-[Searching for Memories]-[Choral Castle]-

Small scene. Once that's done, don't go directly to the entrance. Once you
cross the arch by where you start, stick to the right to find a broken wall.
Go through and follow the path for a Sage, then you can go inside. Another
event here will introduce you to Surprise Encounters.

Basically, if an enemy gets you from behind, instead of white glass shattering,
it will be red colored and your whole party will get mixed up EXCEPT for the
character on the first slot (I have no idea what happens when you are playing
with multiple players on Manual).

So yeah, once that's taken care of... Head to the door by the save point and
examine the door with the glowing ball of light. I'm not sure if the color is
always purple, but for me, it has been.
Now, there are four ghosts inside the castle; Yellow, Blue, Red, and Green.
You gotta get the two colors that when combined, give you the color in the
door. For me? Red and Blue. Though if this is fixed, then I guess it will be
for you too.

Go out, save if you wish and take the right stairs up and follow the path out.
See the Red Ghost? It will run away as soon as you get close. For now, simply
move the two statues at the bottom to block the path to the staircase and take
the left entrance. We'll leave this ghost for last.

Head down the stairs and grab the Life Bottle. On the floor we entered, head
south to enter a room with the Yellow Ghost. Ignore him if need be and go
outside to grab a chest with an Apple Gel. Now, go back inside.
As you go up, you should see the Blue Ghost, ignore it for now as you keep
taking the stairs. Take the first right entrance you see (NOT from where
we came from) to a balcony with a chest containing 1000 Gald and an enemy.

Go back to the stairs room and go up one more floor and take the left exit
into a balcony outside the castle with a chest containing a Chain Mail. Be sure
to equip it as you go back inside. Keep going up until you zone out.

Go inside the room you see there and ignore the Green Ghost (unless you happen
to need it). You can get a Silk Robe in this room. Now, go back down to the
stairs room.

In order to get the Blue Ghost, approach it VERY slowly and try throwing fire
balls at it with Mieu. If you need to, use L1 and R1 to turn around until you
nail it. Then, as it's frozen, approach it to battle him.

Do note you can only have two orbs with you, so if you get a third, the first
one will be 'overwritten'.

The Red Ghost should be easy. Remember we moved the statues? It can't run away
now, so just tackle it on.

Once you have the two orbs you need, head into the room with the door and
examine it to gain passage.

Follow the path here until you reach this large machine where a scene will
trigger. I love how Guy first looks so calm as he looks down to see Anise's
hands before throwing her away. Anyway... Ignore the stairs going down and
follow the path right. You should see a Liger running away in the next screen,
but not just any Liger. Yep, Arietta's Liger.

In the stairs room, use the Healing save point as you go up and then look for
an exit on the left side for another balcony inside the Castle. Grab the
Shakujo and equip it to Tear or Anise.

Go back to the stairs and look for an exit on the right this time for a chest
with 1600 Gald. Keep going up all the way now.
You'll see Arietta's Liger going up and Luke and Anise will bumrush after it.
Luke will go and get kidnapped. Scene change.

We see Luke strapped in the weird machine before Guy shows up and tries to
strike Sync down. He gets a hold of a weird disc before Sync jumps at him and
then gets kicked away when he's distracted, but keeps the disc. Sync then
runs away after having his mask knocked off. You get the Fonic Disc item here
and now we gotta go back to the roof.

Man, I really hate that kid. Sure, she has pink hair, extra points for that,
but she has a really annoying voice and attitude if you ask me...

BOSS BATTLE: ARIETTA Liger Hresvelgr
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
HP : 3,000 3700 3500
Physical Attack : 98 148 135
Physical Defense: 263 228 236
Fonic Attack : 111 101 99
Fonic Defense : 235 167 172
Weakness : None None Fire
Resists : None Wind Water

Rewards: Apple Gel, Savory.
EXP: 760.
Gald: 1300.

First of, take off the Liger. Once that's done, get the bird whatchamacallit
and finally Arietta.
If you don't have Item Thrower here, you might be in a tough spot when you
need to heal some characters and they aren't using requests. Just try to
play it safe. Remember, Free Run is your friend for escaping Fonic Artes.
Then again, what can I say, I got 41.24 GRADE here in Hard mode. XD

So yeah. Van will show up and says he'll deal with her. You are given the
choice of walking back or going to Kaitzur Naval Port automatically.
Choose walking, we got some other business to do here.

Sword Dancer - Part 1/3
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go back to the main entrance of the Castle (inside, where the first save
point was). You should see a sword thrusted in the ground. Save before you
check it to fight the Sword Dancer. After the battle, this part is done.

BOSS BATTLE: SWORD DANCER
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
HP : 17000
Physical Attack : 248
Physical Defense: 159
Fonic Attack : 126
Fonic Defense : 135

Rewards: Grass Chamber (Low rate).
EXP: 3800.
Gald: 1000.

He can be rough, but just hang in there. I suggest level 10 or higher at the
very least. Yes, I know he is tough... Especially over Normal...

Anyway, head back to the Kaitzur Naval Port.

-[A Trip by Ship]-[Kaitzur Naval Port]-

Once you arrive there, it seems the ship is being repaired and Van wants you
to drop in by the Meeting Hall there for a moment. The Meeting Hall is around
the right area of the port, easy to find.

Talk to Van to start the scene. Once you are rested, head to the ship to
set sail.

-[The Power of Hyperresonance]-[Katsbert Ferry]-

We have Luke going solo right now. Head out and Luke will hear the voice in
his head again. Once you are outside the cabin, a soldier will inform him
Van wishes to speak with him. But before we get to that... Head up the hallway
and up the stiars, then check around the top-right corner for a chest with an
Orange Gel. Keep going up the stairs until you reach the very top for a chest
with an Iron Bracelet.

Head down and take the exit. Talk to everyone if you wish as you make your way
around. After the talk with Tear, Luke will start to get controlled by the
voice and Van will help him calm down, as well as explaining the reason behind
why he was being kept in his mansion.

-[The Center of Trade, Chesedonia]-[Chesedonia]-

Well, we got some events to do here. Go a bit left and enter the first building
you see and talk to the kid, Din there. This is a strange service, but it can
net you some Capacity Cores later on.

Anyway, exit and head down for an event with the Dark Wings. Ok, now we can
do those events. Also, don't forget to upgrade gear or something.

Noir Fanclub - Part 2/3
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
There's a seller around the Inn on the north side of the town, talk to him and
you will mention Ayn's dues which you'll pay at the moment. Except, the dues
are 1000 Gald, not 200... Choose to pay anyway and you will get a Fanzine.

Tear's Pendant - Part 1/2
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Talk to the man by the medicine shop in the north side of the town. He's the
coach that Tear payed for with a jewel but it seems the guy already sold it.
You have to come back later to check.

Chesedonia Items
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
In the south side of town, there are two weapon merchants. Left from the
one sitting on the red carpet, there's a merchant inside one of those brown
booth thingies. Talk to him and he will ask about Baticul's prices for things.
He will give you a choice of Food or Items that he will give to you.

Ant Lion Man - Part 1/5
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
In the South area of town, go between the Inn and the armor shop to find
this weird guy, the Ant Lion Man. He asks for an Apple Gel, which you should
give to him in order to get the Fried Chicken recipe in return.

And we are done, phew. Now, go to the middle of the town and head left to the
large mansion you see there. Go up and inside. Watch. The laugh of Astor freaks
me out... In the northern section, check the drawer in the left room for the
Time Traveling Hero, a doll item for Tokunaga.
So yeah, head out and, oh, wait. The Six-God Generals. And we run
like hell into the ship.

-[The Center of Trade, Chesedonia]-[Katsbert Ferry]-

Scene starts by some talking about the documents Guy just got. Clever use of
the value of Phi here if you ask me, cheap, but clever. Then we jump to Isofon
information and, well, just keep watching.

The ship suddenly rocks and a guard comes in saying a number of monsters are
approaching before two Oracle Knights barge in. Battle time!
Once that's done with, head out and up to the deck. This little robot will
then steal a fonstone from a sailor there. Then we begin a bothersome
minigame.

You gotta chase the robot around until you catch it. Thing is, the boat will
rock as you chase it and if you are RUNNING as it rocks, you will stumble.
If you start falling, jam the X button to recover your balance. If you fall
down, you will go into a random encounter.

It's not really hard to catch the little robot, it's just bothersome. Anyway,
once you recovery the Fonstone fragment, then the stupid will jump down into
the water... Which isn't very smart if you ask me. You will get Nobile, a
Capacity Core in return. If you fail to catch it, you won't get the C.C.,
so I suggest you reload. You also get a pair of Winged Boots. Now, get to the
far side of the deck and approach the stairs.

Dist will show up, who also has a weird laugh (I mean, if you are going to
laugh maniatically, at least do it well...). He then throws the Kaiser Dist R
on you. For the record, I still love Jade's remarks.
"I don't know any Jades with such poor taste in friends." Kick a**...

BOSS BATTLE: KAISER DIST R
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
HP : 19,000
Physical Attack : 182
Physical Defense: 302
Fonic Attack : 139
Fonic Defense : 204
Weakness : Water
Resist : None

Rewards: Orange Gel.
EXP: 800.
Gald: 1500.

Easy battle. Just be sure to guard frequently from its attacks.

And Dist goes flying away. You will then arrive at Baticul.

-[The Capital of Light, Baticul]-[Baticul]-

Just as you arrive, Goldberg and Cecille will be there to greet you.
Cecille goes away to inform Duke Fabre and we are left to our own.

Follow the only path you have here to reach the airlift. Take it to the
main city. Take any of the stairs to the north you see and head to the right
until you see an lift-like platform, take it up. Yes, that means we ignore the
Dark Wings right there.

In the next level, head right and up for the next lift. Then, in this third
level head left a bit and then north to the castle. Take the large stairs up.
Watch. After that's done, exit and go left (outside the castle) to get to the
Fabre's Manor. The game will take over for you.

Once you regain control, head left into the Drawing Room where Natallia is.
After the whole talk, take the left door and go all the way up for the Duke and
Madam Fabre's Chamber, go inside. After the talk, head back to the entrance for
a small scene before going to Luke's chamber and resting.

-[The Goodwill Ambassador]-[Baticul]-

A maid will come in to wake you up. And wow, apparently the Score even has
details about the weather. Bet that one isn't as crappy as the meteorologists
we have... >_>
Erm, sorry, personal rant. Leave the Manor and go to the castle, up to the
Audience Hall we go automatically. Scenes, scenes. Luke will receive the
Ambassador title here.

Leave the Audience Hall and from the save point, take the door on your left
and in the hallway, stick to going as far left as you can to the Prison.
Head down the steps there. Man, Luke is so easy to manipulate, but whatever.
Go back to the entrance and exit.

After the scene, head all the way down the lift and Anise will come to you.
It seems Ion has disappeared and she will join you. When you take the next
lift, Guy will mention that Luke should see the master of a Dojo. You will
learn about Fon Slot Chambers here. You get a Carmine Chamber AND a Moon
Selector special item. Now, before we leave, we got some events to do.

After the lesson on FSC from Miyagi, go and stay in the inn in Baticul and
Anise will write down the recipe.

Albert Style Books - Part 1/4
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Talk to Ramdas in the entrance hall of the Fabre residence (he has two maids
nearby) and he will mention one of the maids accidently sold four Albert-style
books. He mentions the seller should still be in the port, and that you should
go look for him and give you 20,000 Gald to buy back the books.
Go to Port Baticul to find the merchant, who will sell you the book for those
20,000 Gald. You'll learn Demon Fist.

Sigmund Strategist
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Simply get over 300 encounters in total and after hearing Miyagi's explanation
on Fon Slot Chambers, listen to all of his tutorials for Guy to get this title.
Guy must be the on screen character by the way. I believe you need to have
Natalia with you, which will happen soon anyway.

Sigmund Style - Part 1/7
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Talk to Pere in the Fabre Manor until he mentions Gee at the Desert Oasis.
It requires around 3 talks.

Contamination Effect - Part 1/4
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go to Port Baticul (take the aircar) and a guy will try to take revenge
on Jade, but he easily takes care of the guy. The group will then ask Jade
how can he materialize and disappear his spear like that and he will give a
short explanation on the whole contamination effect.

Jewel of Gardios - Part 1/3
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go to the first room of the Fabre Manor and talk to Pere who is standing
there (I believe you need to clear at least the first step of Sigmund Style
beforehand). He will start to explain about the sword there to Luke but Guy
will stop him.

Done? Good. Go to the right side of the lowest level and take the aircar there
to the factory.

-[The Goodwill Ambassador]-[The Abandoned Factory]-

I swear this music comes from Resident Evil (the first one)...
Save if you wish and head right. Guy will start giving a small explanation of
the place before Natalia shows up. Hah! Bet you didn't see that one coming.
Ok, maybe you did, I mean, it was fairly obvious...

"Anybody else think I should rip daddy's little girl a new hole?" (C) Anise.
That's just so damn awesome if you ask me. So yeah, she joins you.

Once you have control, go up the stairs there and get the chest with a Magic
Lens inside. Go back down the stairs and head down (as in towards the camera,
not right) to spot another set of stairs going down. Go towards the chest but
it will fall down. We'll just get back to it later.
Head right all the way and bypass the ladder there to find a chest with an
Apple Gel, then return and go up the two sets of stairs.

Head along the pipes, ignoring the ladder above you as we can't reach it yet.
At the end of the pipes, you should see another ladder. Take it down, along
with the next one and follow the pipes to find a Feather Cloak in the chest
that dropped some moments ago. Backtrack one ladder up and enter the door
there.

A scene will trigger here. Watch and when it's over, there's a ladder on the
bottom left that leads to an Orange Gel. Grab it and then take the ramp up
and activate the switch there. Board the lift up.

Take the ladder up first to find a Scimitar at the end, then go back and down
the two ladders. Follow the pipes and when you reach the intersection, take
the south path first to obtain a Cobatl Chamber, then head up into the platform
after climbing the ladder. Approach the barrel of oil you see there and then
use Mieu to shoot fire at it to light it up. Check the machine next to it.

Go into the door. See the aircar near you? Go south a bit and you should spot
a ladder in the metallic platform where the aircar is, go down it and follow
the path to a chest. The pipe will give away however, pouring oil down before
you can get the Apple Gel. Go back up and return to the previous room.

Take the lift down and walk on the pipe for it to break, giving you access
to the nearby platform. Take the door you see there. Notice the oil dripping?
(Well, the game WILL make you notice it.) Use Mieu's Fire at the right time
for it to light up and light the barrel as well, then return to where the
Aircar is and switch it on before boarding it.

Notice the machine there controlling the flow of oil? Examine it once so that
oil starts flowing to the left, then hop back into the aircar. Look for a
ladder on the far right and then light up the barrel you'll find down there
by timing yourself with the dripping oil. Return to the machine and make it
flow to the right this time.

Go right and activate the machine we see there and use the nearby save point if
you want. Ignore the lift for now and follow the metallic platform. You should
spot yet another ladder going down to a chest with 3000 Gald. Now you can board
the lift up. Follow the path and into the entrance there.

Take the ladder down and go up for the chest with a Panacea Bottle in it. Take
a left near the chest and you should see a ladder pilled up near the save
point, examine it to put it down so you can use it now. Go down and start
pushing the barrel until it's below the dripping oil. Keep heading down once
you push the barrel down for a chest with a Life Bottle, then go back up to the
pipes and take the other left we ignored at first to make loads of oil drop
into the barrel, then go back and light it.

Go back up to the healing save point and use it, then activate the final
machine and board the aircar. Get ready for another boss battle.

BOSS BATTLE: ABADDON
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
HP : 22,000
Physical Attack : 197
Physical Defense: 333
Fonic Attack : 186
Fonic Defense : 271
Weakness : None
Resist : None

Rewards: Lavender.
EXP: 1190.
Gald: 2000.

This is a weird boss. At first, it pretty much spams Negative Gate, but as
you keep damaging, the gooey cover will start to wear off, revealing a giant
spider. Eventually, it will start popping little spiders out of nowhere that
run in straight lines and can hit you. Needless to say, Free Run is the key
here.

Head out the exit there for an anime sequence. Luke jumps at Asch trying to
recover Ion, but as they are duking it out, Luke is baffled because Asch looks
exactly like him. Well, everyone else is surprised as well besides Jade.
