Uhm.. If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say that you've gotten really used to what you're doing, freedom, or something -- little responsibility, thus the hair growing so long. But you realise that this isn't beneficial to you, or to how you 'look', and you need to cut back your activities in order to make yourself look better -- in other words, you need to take less 'space' for yourself, and start focusing on other things.

Well, that's just one interpretation. 'Twas the first one that came to mind, anyways. You could also go to http://www.dreammoods.com and try and interpret the details of your dream, but I don't go by 'the book', because I've found that it's useless in a lot of ways and that the meanings of dreams are very subjective, as the psyche itself and the way it expresses itself is very subjective as well.

It could also mean something about imbalance, what with one side of your hair being shorter than the other. Like, perhaps, you present yourself differently to others than you really are.
