80's and early 90's. Now look, that stuff was good. Run-DMC, Sugar Hill Gang, N.W.A., Cypress Hill...almost all of it.
I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me, but I just have to say, I like this stuff. It molded a Generation, and it was, shocking!, good stuff, and it was before hip-hop was so ******** commercialized.

Sadly I must agree. I like old skool hip-hop, it was good at one point in time.

[Aus-Rotten] There is a lot of good underground s**t out there. Just have to get away from the MTV/Radio Rap Check out local rappers, they're pretty good.

its all already been said, but ya, old-school hip-hop was great, but there also are a lot of great rappers today.. underground hip-hop is great for a message that needs to be heards.
