Yeup, that's right since no one else will I guess I am gonna have to. Since there has only been harmless fun Rp in the past I'm making this topic for pure Rp reasons only. Of course this will mean people have to be serious. (As in.. no trapping magical bugs in giant jars and squashing them, etc..) Anywho there are rules to this Rp. (Which are pretty standard.)

No god-moding! (This might be hard for most people since they're gods, but when beaten in battle or you die for some reason your character must "rest" for 3 days, non god chars must not be resurected until 3 days has passed.)
-Fighting is allowed but don't go all crazy anime on us people.
-No "autoing". (Preforming a lethal or dangerous attack/move on another character without them acknowledging your existence and excepting the hit. e.g. *shadowick slices Red Vulpine into iddy biddy pieces!* (WRONG!)
*Shadowick throws his scythe at Red Vulpine* (Right!) Here's the part where one can evade/counter the move, but don't dodge/evade everything that's god-moding.)
-No killing the forest. (You can attack a few trees but don't blow it all up.)
-You can use a different or modified character then your god/creature, but if it's different then give a detailed explanation of what it is.

You stop and squint your eyes and look up as you start to feel somewhat light-headed, your head starts to spin and your vision blurs, you can only make out the general shape of objects and their colour as they spin around you. As it starts to die down you blink a few times while your eyes focus, you look behind you and notice you are no longer walking on a plain but rather have entered a forest somewhere. You look up into the sky to see what looks like an aurora in the sky but there are random images appearing and melting away, most of it un-recognizable but you decide to figure out where you are as you look around. You turn around slowly examining your surroundings noticing that this forest doesn't seem to end as the trees extend row-after-row all around you. The trees' leaves are a mix of orange and yellow as it must be Autumn, but it was Spring a moment ago. You look up as clouds seem to consume the sky almost instantly as if a sheet was thrown over the sky. The aurora still there, but not any harder to notice against the black of the clouds. Then you notice a familiar sound as it starts to pour rain. You run under one of the trees and wonder what's going on.
(The forest is a timeless zone and the aurora is the window into your own time, so whenever you wanna leave/quit just go into it. The forest is currently going through Autumn but the seasons change at radical speeds so it could go to Winter in 15 seconds while the sun hasn't even setted as the sun and moon aren't affected by the chaotic time shifts. And no your character is not affected either.. unless you want it to. I would have put this in but then I'd have to add something crazy like an old lady or something so your char can figure it out themselves.)

((You can roleplay with your creature/god it would make it easier for everyone to know who you are, but if you wanna go with something else you have to describe them. e.g. clothes, weapons, etc..))

Introductory post:
Wiping sweat and rain from his forehead, he settles his ax down beside the pile he's stacked at the far edge of the clearing. His hammer, "Mholnir" emblazoned on the black steel head, rests with a wedge of dragontooth for splitting that which the ax cannot. Tucked safely in an oiled-leather script are his belt and gloves, out of sight but making a soft hum within the script itself. Bare to the waist and only in woolen breeches on his lowers, he's barefoot and smiling at his work and rubbing a thumb on his tattooed name, reminding himself of his always-mortal flesh.

Name: Dante Obsidian
Age: 123 (Looks like he is 21 in our years.)
Abilities: Shapeshifting, Invisibility, Enhanced speed.
Introductory post: Dante is a ragular young kitsune, he has two daggers on each side of his belt, accompanied buy a few pouches filled with different powders, as Dante is somewhat of an alchemist. Dante is a mischievous kitsune and his element is the moon. He has many stealth abilities and can use his daggers for other things then alchemy. His tail and ears are crimson red, he has dull blood red eyes and somewhat pale skin, he has a dark red long sleeved shirt on with baggy black pants.
As he covers his eyes from the rain he slowly walks under a tree and sits down, as he cannot hear anything but the rain hitting leaves he takes that as a sign of encouragement as his muscles ached from the hike, he curls up and closes his eyes, waiting for nighttime so he can feed upon it's light as he slowly falls asleep.

Abilities: Healing, fire breath, projecting self as a human (Because I don't want to be a massive bird who has to fly around the entire RP)
Introductory post:
.:: From the edge of the forest, a fiery light can be seen glowing brightly. A massive bird stretches across the sky, some what like the Roc, except composed of fire! The wings of the bird, have a glorious glow emitting around them, and as the wings flap, embers fall from gently to the ground. The Phoenix continues to fly over the top of the Forest then eventually begins to slow down in it’s flight, and begins to descend. The Phoenix begins to hover directly over the tops of the trees. Suddenly, there is a massive ball of flames in the sky! From where the Phoenix once flue, a ball of flames with a black object in it falls hastily to the ground. The ball of flames falls through the trees, then through seemingly endless amount of branches, then it hits the ground. The flames stop, but in their wake massive scorch marks line a hole through the trees where they passed from as well as the ground. The ground where the fireball landed, was now smoking as the ground, and the grass that was on it, was dead. From the smoke, a black figure could be seen, it was a in the shape of a human, a male human, but something was defiantly different. Where the pupal, and color of the eyes should be, a great blaze burned. The rest of the body, seemed normal, wearing black boots, black gloves, black pants and a black leather long coat. The man looked around, then proceeded to walk around the forest, in search of anyone...

Appearance: Wears jeans and a T-Shirt, his trademark winged sandals and hat (It's a beany hat with wings), and carrying the Caduceus. He has (dyed) red hair and green eyes. He is somewhat tall, and has a handsome athlete's body.
Age: Ageless, but appears young adult-ish. 17, 18.
Abilities: Able to fly with the assitance of the sandals and hat. Some wind magic ability.
Weapon: The Caduceus))
Hermes cheerfully walks along the path, humming a wandering song that is melodic, but obviously made up as he goes along. He stops for a moment by the river. "I wonder where I could be now." He idly ponders, tapping the Caduceus on a nearby tree.

As water began to pool upon an orange leaf (It's autumn) it quietly spills as the leaf gives way, splashing on the young kitsune's ear snapping him out of his dreams as he shakes the sleep out of his head and raises his arms to stretch, he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and stood up quietly surveying his surroundings and saw that it was still raining, the sun was setting by the way the clouds were tinted orange, and the night air swept in. The kitsune sighed as he realized he could not feed upon the moon's presence fully if the clouds blocked it out. He would have to drain the life energy out of a few of the trees or something. He opened his red muzzle and whispered a single word and began to walk out from under the tree and followed the path to the lake as he was slightly thirsty, his vulpine tail swishing gently behind him as he quietly walked towards the lake, the rain not touching him as if some invisible force diverted it around him -he wondered if anyone was here as he could not sense anyone as of yet- When he reached the lake he kneeled down beside a shallow part of it and cupped his paws/hands as they were not fully hands yet, he dipped his hand-made cup into the water and brought it up to his muzzle and drank it down, he repeated this motion three more times before feeling hungry. He stood up and looked around as all the wildlife must be hiding in their dens to escape the rain. He would have to wait by a tree quietly until he could hear/smell/see one coming.

((This could get confusing...what's the setting exactly? Is this forest some universal meeting place through time/space for the gods? Hmmm... well, if so, here's mah post.)) Name: Artemis (a.k.a. many other things...but for the purpose of this RP I guess she'll just be Artemis...) Age: ageless...and her appearance makes it hard to determine anyway. She can "feel" anywhere from a mature 12 to a youthful 30, depending on the day and her mood. Her appearance reflects this. Abilities: (Only allowed to have 3-4 tops.) (never really got the number-rating thing...so here it is despite that...) ~Superb hunting/fishing skill...pretty much anything that goes with that. ~Bond/powers with wild creatures and animals in general...instinct..." " ~Powers/Controlled by the Moon... " " ~Typical God Immortality/Endurance Weapons: Bow/Arrows, whatever comes handy, her abilities... Introductory Post A young doe finishes lapping water from a still pool in the bank of the river. She looks up at Hermes for a moment before darting off casually.
The moon peaked out from behind dusky clouds...
"Are you lost again, Hermes? Or are you just wandering aimlessly about?"
The remark was not meant to be insulting, it rather carried the mild warmth of someone who shared...a somewhat mutual respect...
The remark came from Artemis, who is nearby crouching down in the damp, black soil and sifting through the debris there...and somehow she still carried a strong air of nobility. She had been there before Hermes ambled by, and, when he passed, she simply did not move, and watched like a cat for a moment before commenting.
She continued searching for the item in the grass now, seemingly not disturbed nor intriqued by Hermes' presence...

((I'mma add an ability- Teleportation over short distance with ease (Like X-Men's Nitecrawler) and over great distance with a lot of effort, through the ether. The only importance of that last one is it explains why he isn't fazed at all by the quick transition from wherever he was. ))
He smiles at the goddess. "Hey there, Artemis. Beautiful as always." He floats into the air, the wings on his sandals fluttering. Affecting an insulted tone, but keeping the smile, he says, "How dare you accuse me of being lost. I've never been lost in my life: It's kinda hard when you can just teleport right back home. You have rather hit on the situation though; I don't really know where I am, but I also don't care as I wasn't intending to go anywhere specific." He turns his head to the side, watching her search.
"Need help?"

((I thought all gods could generally teleport... only on a limited basis? Perhaps Hermes does it faster, more frequently, and more accurately and with greater ease (and that "poof!" thing that Nightcrawler does xd ). I dunno. sweatdrop
Oh, and I also thought of adding a possible modern element to my character... the gods were in hiding all these years, some as human beings who forgot who they were for awhile? Then we could bring in a human element into all of it...like the difference between Artemis the goddess and Artemis the normal, mortal girl (I could give her a human name as well.) It could open up some possibilities of character development... complications as mortals, rediscovery, mortal weaknesses (maybe both physical and mental) in immortal beings...how this could change things, etc.. It could even give us a storyline to follow...roughly...
You seem to have a bit of that going on already.
I dunno.))

Artemis mused on while she lightly listened to the speech, still smiling... she knows the usual talk. She spoke softly, yet sternly, mildly amused...
"I know Hermes, I know. And I don't need help... there's just something that has been bothering me. It's fine, though, I can handle it."
The old Artemis would never show such weakness in front of someone else, especially like this, she thought... she emitted a barely audible, deep sigh.
She stood up and flicked the dirt clean off of her fingers, careful not to hit Hermes. She then tilted her chin up to the sky, exhaled, and closed her eyes. The moon peaked out once again from behind the clouds, fully this time... As this happened, some peculiar specks glow in the dirt she was digging in. They fade a moment later, as if they were never there. Artemis lowered her head and opens her crystal, bluegreen eyes, staring off into space, her mind at work.
"A beautiful night tonight..." she said automatically, without much thought. Her voice changed a little as she said that... she started to sound sure of herself again.

((Actually, I was thinking of something along the same lines... I think I'll start a topic on it later. Everyone might find it interesting... 3nodding
Part of it is that the gods became less powerful, and eventually went into a kind of hibernation because the belief in them started disapearing, and belief is what really gives them their powers. If you don't mind, I'll try and help along the storyline you mentioned, with the assumption that the reason they became humans is that belief in them became less and less...
And yeah, I suppose he's just a little more flamboyant about teleporting. whee He's not really better, persay. Just kinda flashy and practiced at it.))
Hermes nods his head slowly, his brow furrowing slightly. "We're all still a little confused, what with the Awakening. But if you need help," He alights on a branch of a nearby tree, "Or someone to talk to... We're both still part of the same big picture, however confusing it is."
He looks around at the surroundings. "It is indeed a beautiful night. On the subject of our surroundings, I don't suppose you know where we are, do you?"
