From William Shakespeare to Edgar Allen Poe to Dean Koontz and James Patterson. Whose the next great writer of OUR generation?

Hmm, interesting to think about. But, I'd like to hope it will be one of us wink

Us! All of us who is now hanging around in writer's forums, doing what's best for the world of fiction!
At least, I'm aiming to be one of them, especially considering my future career wink

Oh wouldn't it be spectacular if it was one of us?
I've never heard of Dean Koontz but as of now I'm doing a bit of research. He seems like a really funny guy. I'm looking at his official web site: www.deankoontz.com in case anyone was wondering.
