Sky's hand retrieved a crystal from the air. Her hand was still with Adam's as the orb enlarged to surround them, transporting them to the aboveground. Once their feet touched the earth, Sky's eyes darted around. This wasn't the same city she had been in before, she was certain of that...but she couldn't really tell since it looked the same.
"Now where are we? This isn't the city of New York is it?" She looked to Adam, who now had to play teacher.

Adam took his hand back as gently as he could and quickly slipped it away. "This is the island by the name of Manhattan." he said lightly...for his standards, as he looks around. He whinced at the fumes and held a cough in. It was cold and he looked at her attire. "Are you cold milady? that is no outfit to be wearing in a cool place like this," sighing to himself he unbuttoned his long trenchcoat and raised it and waited for her to slip her arms through.

With the coat on, she blinked, having forgotten what she was wearing. Her body regulated itslef when she was in the labyrinth, and even now she barely felt the cold. "Thank you...Perhaps I should find something else to wear before we go see this master of yours?"
How she was too afford so she wasn't sure...

"Of course," looking around them he blinked silently before stepping towards the end of the curb they were on and lifted his fingers towards his mouth. A high pitched whistle sounded and soon atleast three taxis stopped before them. Looked over to her, "Pick your ride Milady."

Skyling looked at the taxi and blinked. "What is it?" she asked a little skittish about the veichle.

"Its....like a carrage without horses and made of metal." he unbuttoned the cuffs of his long sleeved black dress shirt and decided to wave two taxis away and opened the door for her to climb in. "It wont bite you, do not worry."

She nodded and slipped in, blinking as the driver said something about buckling up. With a puzzled expression on her face, she looked about her seat, noticing the buckle and belt and putting 2 and 2 together to get 4.

Adam slid in besides her and directed the taxi driver down on West Loral and C. The man turned around and raised an eyebrow but seeing the cold look Adam gave him he quickly turned around and gave an "ye sir West Loral and C it is, is it KDCorp your going for?"
"Just drive," Adam slide back on the warn black fake leather seats and ignored the comment on putting on the seatbelts. He folded his arms and looked silently out the window as they pulled out quickly and moved along with the traffic.

Sky simply smiled at the little glare before she looked outside, her eyes latching onto the sights outside the veichle, even to all the other cars and trucks on the road. She felt like she should know all of this stuff...

"Dont worry Lady Skyling I and an associate by the name of Weatherly shall be helping you with knowledge of the corporation and the changed world around you." Adam ran his hand once again through his hair, his finger subconsiously running over the small sharp horns he hide from the world. He pressed a little harder then given credit and watched as deep almost black blood bead appeared. He sighed and reached into his pocket and pulled out a white hankerchief. Quite contrasting in comparison to his dark overall attire.

Holding the handkerchief he pointed out the window, " you see that building milady? Thats the Empire state building, the tallest building in Manhattan and i believe one of the most beautiful, " he pointed back a little more where a large bare spot was, " There was two twin towers that were even large though....the world trade centers, but they unfortunatly were attacked by terrorists," he looked to her, "Even in the Aboveground we have evil trying to rid of the good. We have Kingdoms that are now called countrys and states at war together....but you shall learn this soon enough."

She slid her silver gaze to where the trade towers once stood. "It must have a nightmare for up here...." She sighed softly and looked to him. "I have so much to learn and it feels like there is little time."
