A white paw pushed sand to one side. The owner of this white paw was extremely bored.
Mufasa gave a sigh and walked away from his 'home' to find something to do. Life without rules was certainly boring.
Chocolate colored eyes roamed the area in front of the young lion as he glanced from one area to the other. No one in sight, or so he thought. His lazy eyes never picked up anything.
"Blah," he said with a sigh. Today was extremly hot and deathly boring.
The lion cub didn't care where he was going. He would find his way back eventually. He sat where he was suddenly, thinking up something to do for the time being.

Unlike the cub nearby, Choa did have a set of rule to follow -- and she was breaking a big one right now. She wasn't supposed to wander away from the Pridelands, but it was just that she was so curious... so she set a paw over the border her father had clearly marked for her, and kept going.
She caught the other cub's scent then -- she was perhaps slightly older than him, but not by much.
"Hello?" she called out, uncertain. If either of her parents found her here, she was toast!

Dark ears flicked at the sound of a voice. Curiously he stood up and made his way to the general directon.
"Hello," Mufasa said to the uncertain cub. He could tell she was older then he was, but he didn't mind.
Mufasa sat down, so he didn't cause some sort of threat.

"Hi," Choa greeted, brightening. "I'm Choa." She sat down opposite him, her head tilted just a little. "Who're you?"

"Nice to meet you, Choa," Mufasa said, politly. "My name is Mufasa."
Mufasa would try to be polite. Being rude brought no one anywhere. Well, that's what he thought, anyways.
"Where are you from," he asked curiously.

Choa's jaw literally dropped. "Your name is... Mufasa?" she asked incredulously, completely forgetting for a moment that he'd asked her a question.
Choa had never heard of two lions with the same name, let alone a lion with the same name as the late king of the Pridelands. Frankly the idea had never occurred to her.

Mufasa paused after she overreacted. Well, he though that she over reacted. It was just a name... right?
Right?
"What's wrong with my name?" He asked curiously as he tilted his head. Nothing was wrong with his name... Nothing... He had no clue who the late king of the pridelands was, so he wouldn't know. How was he supposed to know he was named after royalty. Boy, was this going to be a bundle of fun!
