Actually, DragonForce would have done surprisingly well. They were able to mix the speed of Metallica's "Kill 'Em All", with vocals that rivaled Iron Maidens. And, with the type of lyrics they write, they would have appealed to the metalheads well. Here's an example: My uncle grew up listening to the metal. He got me into it. And he only likes the older stuff like that from the 80's. But, I let him listen to my DragonForce album, and he loved it. So, that's just my opinion
