I am going to name a prompt everyday (hopefully). Y'all can post your replies to each one, naming which one you are doing. Example: Prompt Number 1: Comedy . (That isn't the first one.) I might post my own. Post your first draft and your edited draft or just your first draft, which ever one you want.

Okay, day one.

Prompt Number One: Start up

Write the begining of a story. Begin with a character and discribe their world briefly through them instead of narrating how their life is. 300 - 700 words.

Neat idea smile Maybe this'll help kick me into gear to actually work on some things I've been planning to.

But would writing the first chapter of my novel in Aldel's POV technically count?

*shrugs* Sure, as long as it is the first time you've wrote it.

Might try that. I really need to figure out his character...

Day two: Arguements

Write an arguement between two characters that normally get along quite well with one or more bystanders to watch. Then write their reactions afterwards. 500 - 800 words.

No, I just need to prepare for things, and I'm not finding the time for that.

Try doing it once a week, instead of once a day...gives people more time to think, maybe...

The point is to have someone writing everyday, not for them to come up with a plot or to make their writing look good; save that for the actual works. This only is suppose to exercise the mind so that it is use to writing ... but it doesn't really matter; I have no time to deal with this at the moment.
