The views of Dan, Emma, Rupert, and Bonnie have been confirmed as of this year via interviews.

Dan: has said several times that if Harry makes the battle, it's going to be Harry/Luna.
His Reason: They both have a connection because they had one of their parents die. They also have a strong connection because of that.
In My Opinion: Dan fancies blondes. That's just a known fact he admittedly answered in a past interview. It doesn't surprise me that he wants Harry to be with Luna even after canon!Harry had said Luna was his friend only.

Emma: has admitted to being a R/Hr shipper.
Her Reason: Like all Herons, it's obvious isn't it?
In My Opinion: I think Emma is starting to doubt her own ship once she read HBP. She probably didn't like how R/Hr was supposedly set up with all its jealously and shallowness. Come join us Emma! You already said you liked Dan Harry over Ron and Victor!

Rupert: wants Ron to die because he doesn't want to see R/Hr be one of the final pairings.
His Reason: They argue and get on each other nerves way too much to be consider healthly.
In My Opinion: Go Rup! He's an unoffical H/Hr shipper.

Bonnie: doesn't seem to like H/G at all.
Her Reason: Ginny's crush on Harry is "a wasted dream."
In My Opinion: I really liked how she reponded to the R/Hr interviewer (Melissa of TLC) who kept gushing on H/G in HBP. Her "wasted dream" statement really does define what H/G truly was. Go Bonnie too! She's also an unoffical H/Hr shipper.

I think it's way too ironic what the actors think because the two people who play Harry and Hermione don't support the pair and the other two actors who play characters most H/Hr shippers hate/want to die don't support OBHWF. Lol. xd

Update Jan 19:

Brief update on the cast:

Dan: Doesn't seem too happy about all the lovey-dovey scenes between him and Bonnie. We all know Dan is all for the action and dead scenes. Unfortunately, he doesn't get to die in HBP like Dumbles. sad

Emma: Of course she's happy for the OBHWF's happiness in DH, but is she happy she has to kiss Rupert? stare That's a no. Oddly enough, she's not sure if she has to share that wonderfully evil kiss with Dan. Say it with me: YES, YES, YES!!! whee

Rupert: Aw, he gets to snog with Lavender. blaugh I heard from Em's site they've already filmed it. Rupe already has experience what with Driving Lessons, but he'd rather die than kiss Emma in the Moviefone interview. XD (Emma looks rather offended and Dan's about to fall off the chair he's sitting in but also looking very relieved or is that just my D/E obsession speaking? rolleyes )

Bonnie: One word: awkward. confused Of course! It's Radcliffe. Daniel Radcliffe. (About James Bond, when Dan was asked who would be his leading lady, Emma moved 2 feet away and Dan gracefully volunteered Rupert stressed ). Anyway, I wish her luck on her jump to the big screen. Even though she's been there since CoS (or was she in SS? I don't remember), she's going to have a lot more lines and scenes with Dan other than eying him. xp

Evanna: Oh yes! She's new on the list! surprised I read somewhere in an interview she favors Luna/Dumbledore. Hm, even more like Luna than we thought. wink I also read somewhere in either a Spanish or Italian magazine (feel free to correct me) that she also supports *gasp* H/Hr! Yeah! heart There's a possibility that she was disappointed with the book even though she was never interviewed about it. I read her theories ranging from the black veil to Harry "dying but still living" and we all know DH barely went there. burning_eyes

I'll try to updated! Now, chat away at this new slice of info! 4laugh

Reading that makes me happy.
Maybe JKR will start considering her actor's opinions seeing as THEY are the one who's going to be acting on the movies...

GO H/HR!

If Ron/Rupert doesn't like RHr there will be no onscreen chemistry and it will ruin it anyways

awesome. but I still would be sad if Ron dies!

Micca_chan---Funny you should mention Rowling considering her characters' actors. She did in fact visit them on the OotP set a few months ago and asked them their opinions on the characters, plot, etc. She has something up her sleeve...

Mrs R J. Lupin---I don't think Rupert ever really did like R/Hr in the first place. There has never been any chemisty between Emma or Rupert. I always get this dull connection between the two if they attempt to do an UST (unresolved sexual tension) scene. I mostly get a brother/sister vibe from the two.

On an off note, it really is actually quite humorous because Dan said that he and Emma were like siblings yet their on and off screen relationship scream hot, fiery, and sizzling passion. What are those two hiding?

yuna1881---Ditto. I don't want Ron to die either! If only Rupert told us he want Ron/Luna, that would absolutely make my whole year worthwhile.

Yay for Bonnie and Rupert! R/HR is too much like those boring TV shows that you only watch because you want to see the people get together. Then once they do (after spending X number of hours sitting infront of the TV) you are never satisfied. That's what I tell myself whenever R/HR looks tempting. It rarely does though. H/HR are both like the best friends that spend their whole life looking for love, then they discover it is right under their noses! (Yay.)

I really like Bonnie's response though ^^. Ginnie's more mature now. I mean, what girl spends their whole life crushing on this guy then once she gets him she hardly tries to keep them? The original reason she liked him was because Harry was famous, and she put him up on a pedastol too much. Sure she did grow up a lot in the last three books, but since she did I still can't see her with Harry.

I still don't believe Emma supports R/HR. Seriously, she's a good actress, you'd think she would show it more on screen. Or am I just too blinded by the chemistry between Harry and Hermione to notice? I will have to rewatch the movies at their point of view.

Silly, Dan. I can't really say much to be honest. I'd say it is simply because he is into blondes. I mean he must have supported Harry/Cho for a while when he knew about the kissing scenes. I don't think his reasoning for the relationship was good...at all. With both their Mom's dead, (And father for Harry.) it just helped their friendship. Harry might have been making fun of her if he couldn't relate to her so deeply. It saved their frienship, nothing else.

The comment Rupert made just made my day. It shows that he is mature. (I am younger than him, so maybe I shouldn't say that?) A lot more mature than /someone/ anyways. -coughcoughDancoughcough-.
If the two really did love eachother then why bicker so much? Even though some people say they are trying to conceal it I believe they could be civil and polite to eachother, and nobody would have a clue. Rupert is way more mature than Ron! (Yayy!)

I have typed /way/ too much for my own good. Sorry for all spelling mistakes and such. I just needed to type a lot, >.<. I never do while I am on this board, or the others. I don't like to debate, it gets way out of hand. I don't like having enemies, or offending people. I have a good consciense, (I know I spelt that wrong >.>) Anyways, to get back on topic I think it is great to see all of their opinions! I am going to steal one last Go Bonnie and Rupert! -Poofsaway?-

I'm sorta irk at Dan too for his shipping prefs. On Harry/Cho, he said they had "a complicated relationship." All righty...either Dan didn't read OotP or he had a completely different copy then I did because H/C was the typical I-have-no-idea-what-I-know-about-you-except-you're-pretty relationship. I wouldn't say Dan's less mature than Rupert. Probably just on shipping though. (Or is it just my alter-ego who's obessed with Dan speaking?)

No worries Tinkerbelx0x0. It's really nice to see a long post to keep me from doing my homework (seriously thanks! I need a break from that anyway). Ditto on the go Bonnie and Rupert. 3nodding
PostPosted: Mon Jan 08, 2007 7:16 pm

It was only complicated in one way, and it was pretty easy to find out. Cho has no closure what-so-ever with Cedric, so she couldn't part with him. I mean seriously Harry, she was CRYING when you kissed her. xD. CRYING. Or maybe the Producers gave him the wrong copy? Then again, his thinking could have been altered from the script =oo. lol .

Okay, okay. I'll admit it xD. Rupert is probably only more mature when it comes to love. Also, I might just be saying that because I am an H/HR shipper.

Ooh, it is my pleasure ^^. Breaks are nice, and my break was long overdue.

Really! I am a bit surprised by what the cast think. However, I think most of the reasons were fantastic. rolleyes *Slaps Dan on the head* However, they don't know the outcome either soo even the most unexpected *glares at Dan* is possible. I guess we just will have to hope that J.K. Rowling, listens to Bonnie and Rupert. Maybe Emma will be turned to the darkside. I mean her answer wasn't to convincing. But we will have to wait and see.
PostPosted: Mon Jan 15, 2007 4:38 pm

Tinkerbellx0x0:: Exactly. Harry was ready to "move on" while Cho needed closure and reassurance that Cedric really did die because of Voldemort. They both weren't ready to have a relationship. Harry was in "it's all my fault so I'm going to shout a lot and place all the blame on me" mode and Cho was in "my exboyfriend is dead and all I have now is this guy who has this crush on me for two years that I don't even know" mode. Yeah, complicated it was. Dan, in an interview I read, has read OotP and it's his favorite book. (PoA is also his favorite. Ironic isn't it that these two books are the golden books for Harmony. Dan could have fooled us all as a closet H/Hr shipper. Ah...if only he didn't come out as a H/LL shipper all would be right with the world...) Who knows what the producers gave Dan to work with...it probably did screw his thinking around a bit. Ditto on the Rup is more mature on love and just because we're H/Hr shipper. Rupert needs a pat on the back from all us Harmonians. Go Rup. Double ditto on the breaks. I'm on my second break this week. More time to be obsess with HP now. Lol, I think I need my life back from Rowling.

Perfectisnteasy: My jaw fell when I found out what everyone thought. It was scary then funny and back to scary for me. Ah, poor Dan. He's basically the mascot for the H/LL shippers now. We Harmonians still love him though for his good looks and his chemisty with Emma. (He still needs a good slap or two on the head like Harry did in HBP. Harry and Luna? Honestly...) Emma is starting to doubt her own ship. Her reason years ago was that "R/Hr need to get it together." I don't think Emma was too pleased how they did "get it together" in HBP. It's a fact that most R/Hr shippers admit: they didn't like the shallowness of R/Hr which we had been pointing out since day 1. Eh, we'll all have to see what Rowling has up her sleeves.

thu.huyen Oh, I soo agree! Is it sad that Dan's obvious wrongness only makes me love him more since he is just a clueless guy? However, I remember reading somewhere that Dan thought his character was going to die. SOOOOO Let's just say I don't take Dan's ideas on the book to seriously. I hope J.K.R. doesn't either. lol I am glad that all signs point to harmony. Cause I love harmony. Okay I sound like a kid again (Which isn't necessarily a bad thing!) so I will stop here.
PostPosted: Thu Jan 18, 2007 3:42 pm

It's never a sad thing to love Dan for his wonderful cluelessness. It only makes him all the more adorable. xd I don't take Dan's idea on the book too seriously either. I know he's a pretty decent fan of HP but his theories are sometimes a bit out there; point in case, Harry and Luna. I don't think anyone can sway Rowling from how the book suppose to go. She has been working on it for over twenty years and it probably take a life or death situation to let her change the whole ending. Ditto on the signs pointing toward harmony and your love of harmony. If harmony was a stuff bear (I know i'm not making sense but work with here!), I probably squeeze it to death out of joy.

To be honest, since I picture myself an writer, I really didn't she would but you never know. Weirder things have been known to happen. Any way as for your love of squeezing stuffed bears that represent harmony, I am pretty sure most stuffed bears are scared of me for this reason. But let's not go there. Still I think I can find more victims... I mean small furry stuffed animals to squeeze.

Agreed. Rowling is a writer not to be reckon with changes. For all we know, she could write Voldemort and Harry running through a field of flowers singing "Oh Happy Day." All right, it's not likely but it makes my point clear Rowling is capable of a tweak here or there. I'd still like to see that field of flowers though just with H/Hr or R/LL running through it. Ahem. All furry stuffed animals should fear us Harmonians unless they want to missing some cotton in their ear the next day....Lol.

Lol I agree with the meadow in theory but I would much rather a lovely wedding. But that's just me. I can't wait to see what she does next. I really hope it works out the way I want it to but we'll see. In the end it is all up to JKR so we just live in her universe. As for the stuffed animals I need to go looking for more. The ones in this room are all wounded or dead.
