On the computer is a message to Scarlet:
Read only if you want to... if not I don't blame you…
Read this only if you wish to, reply to me somehow if you did read it... if you want to that is....you can say anything you please, I'm not here to hold anything against you. If you wish not to read this I will not get upset nor blame you. But there are some things that I wish to get off of my chest.
Dear Scarlet,
First off I would like to state that I am so very sorry, I'm sorry for hurting you, I'm sorry for leaving you, I'm sorry for doing all of those horrible things you said I did to you. I'm so very sorry I did those things, I do not ask you to forgive me because that would be asking for too much for a person like myself. But all I do truly want to say is that I am very sorry. Ever since I ended our friendship, I've been feeling a sort of emptiness inside, and it has been killing me. Though I know this is nothing compared to how you must have felt when I left you and I am very sorry for that also. I believe my problem was that I did not think before I acted and it has caused me plenty of pain over my years of life. I don't even really know why I'm writing to you begging for you to read this, just hoping that there's a chance that you possibly may forgive me for all of the things I have done. I know-know what else to say....what else to do...I just need to speak with you again, talk to you before I leave. But I also know I have done harsh and cruel things to you and I do not deserve such a treatment such as a conversation with you. Heh... it's kind of odd, how I used to lie to the person I would find myself thinking about often. But hell, you're most likely better off without me, having the happiest days of your life without me to fuss with and such. I suppose I should leave the letter by saying:
I'm sorry, so terribly sorry that I couldn't be the friend you needed, that I couldn't be the girl friend that you could trust.
Your writer,
Karma
P.S. I have this feeling that I'm going to miss you once I move away from here in September or October, whether it be over seas or Ogacihc. I do hope you write back some how, but once again don't do that unless you wish to. If you find your days brighter without me, I am very happy for you. ^_^
Scarlet looks over at the computer as her eyes start to look puffy.
Scarlet: I don’t know what to do… why now? After she abandoned me when I needed her the most…
Scarlet sits up and walks over to the computer. The rain pours downs. At Flaming Snowball, Oliver sips on hot chocolate.
Alice: What’s got you bummed?
Oliver: Scarlet got an e-mail from Karma.
Chris: Karma?
Oliver: I kept pestering her so she asked me to read it… honestly, it sounded like Karma was trying to get off the hook but Scarlet fell for it. Now she’s heartbroken that Karma won’t reply back.
Alice: If I ever got my hands on that devil I’d –
Oliver: Be arrested for assaulting a child even though Karma deserves to be slapped for eternity.
Chris: I just hope Scarlet doesn’t do anything extreme.
Oliver: She’s at the hospital today, right?
Chris: Yeah, with Biff.
Oliver: Hmmm, I wonder if it was him that made Scarlet like Karma.
Alice: What do you mean?
Oliver: Karma is a fox genra.
The rain poured down as Scarlet walks behind Karma, Karma’s tail swished from the rain and wind. Scarlet’s face is puffy and pink with tears streaking her face. Scarlet looks up at the dark sky, a tear rolls down her cheek.
Karma: Scarlet…
Scarlet looks at Karma; Karma’s eyes are also puffy from crying. Karma’s ears twitch and she leaps.
Karma: Scarlet, look out!
Karma pushes Scarlet out of the way; Karma’s body gets hit with a car as her neck cracks back. Karma is pulled under the car and ran over by the wheels; tearing her clothes. The car swerves and speeds off down the road.
Scarlet: Karma!
Karma lies on her side; blood mixes with the rain on the asphalt. Scarlet runs over to Karma; people start to gather around. Scarlet’s hands shake as tears form in her eyes. Karma struggling raises her arm and wipes the tears from Scarlet’s eyes.
Karma: One day you shall see… just how important you are to me.
Karma passes; her body starts to fade away. Scarlet starts to cry, a police officer puts his hand on Scarlet’s shoulder. Scarlet cries and starts to run in the rain from the accident. In a room, a girl smirks.
Ace: Heh, accidents do happen.
