What is a Collaring Ceremony? The best way to compare a collaring ceremony is by comparing it to a wedding, but instead of a ring, the Master or Mistress places a collar around the neck of their desired slave. In so doing the slave accepts full obedience to the Master or Mistress, and the Master or Mistress vows to protect and care for the slave for as long as they wear that collar.
There is a leader of the ceremony, usually a close friend and a free person. In this case, unless specially requested, I or a crew member will lead the ceremony.
It is an act of love and devotion, and should be treated as such. Some men and women wait years to collar a slave, and you should also seriously think about what you are doing when considering a collaring.
How do I collar a slave? After you've thought about it for a long time, you and the other person agrees to go through with it, pm me. Together we will arrange a date that works out best for you two, and hopefully myself (if I can not be there when you wish the day to be, we will work together to find someone to do it). After the date is set up I will create graphics specially costumed for the ceremony, send out invitations, and create a thread for the occasion.
Where will it be held RP wise? That's for you to decide, if you want it to be in a church, a park, whatever you want, that is where it will be rp wise.
Can I collar more than one slave? Some people do collar more than one slave, and I won't say no to it. I will say that all of your collared slaves must agree with each other and say that it is ok that you collar another. If they say no, you might have to either not collar the current slave, or consider the current relationship you are in. I will not over rule on someone elses feelings, don't drag me or anyone else into it.
If a collared slave of yours has not been online for a long amount of time and appears to have vanished I will make exceptions. But don't try to sneak around, I will pm all of your collared slaves and ask for their approval specifically. It's just being nice people!
If you have anymore questions on the ceremony, please ask in this thread.
