Twilight Princess! heart heart heart I have'nt had time to play much of it , but my son has been , and I can hear it in the background and I'm trying to avoid looking at it sweatdrop I got the Cube version , it arrived in the shops here literally a couple of days before Christmas!

I know some of you have already played it - how did you like it?

FF VII has'nt been released here yet sad

Twilight Princess rocks!

I got the GC version as well, and a few things without spoilers...
...
...Can't think of any...
The tools all rock...
I beat it getting all the pieces of heart (and if you do not already know, they increased the number of pieces needed from four to five, so it takes 5 pieces to make a heart container), as well as all the other sidequest stuff.

Very fun in my opinion.

I played a little of it - I find the movement different , a little more jerky , or sensitive , I guess I'll get used to it. It's like a combination of games. The item wheel is Jak and Daxter-ish , the general look is a bit Prince of Persia-ish , but the old familiar music is there , and is'nt Link so cute blaugh

I will tip you this though... When it comes to it, get the Magic Armor.
Magic Armor is optional, and can be easily missed, as it is hardly necessary.
What it does (In white)-> Wearing it eats your rupees, but as long as you wear it, you will not lose hearts, but more rupees, when damaged. When you are out of rupees, the armor goes into low power mode, where it will not protect you, and it will make you move as if you were wearing/holding something heavy. It also looks great for cutscenes.

The total cost for this gear is 3598 rupees.

Is it worth getting?

I would suggest doing the gold bug gathering sidequest simultaneously with this, as you get 150 rupees for each male/female combination you give, and first gold bug gives the big wallet, as last gold bug gives biggest wallet.
As for worth it, I would say yes for completion, and you have to love the colors (colors: Red cloth, with gold plates when charged, bluish plates when out of power), function can keep you alive longer I guess, if you really have trouble keeping your hearts up... For things that may require a full heart meter, yes very useful.

Thanks biggrin I most likely will anyway , I always want to do everything in a game. I have the guide , but usually I play a game through without it first , then use it the second time.

Really though, if you pay attention to your surroundings, it really isn't too hard to get everything... Though this can be said about many games, I would say this one is a better example of this statement.

Oh, I don't how this happened, but at the point where I had to pay 2000 rupees for the Armor quest, I somehow managed to only need to pay 400 something rupees on my last playthrough... I had paid off the part that required 1000 rupees, then I went off a little with the storyline and got the piece of heart that you can get once you pay that 1000 rupees off... It was weird, but I wasn't complaining.

Oookaaaay....I'm finding it very different from any other Zelda. The movement is not as smooth , your view of the environment seems more limited , and to be honest , that wolf is a nuisance. I have'nt got far enough to be able to change at will , maybe it will be better then. Midna creeps me out and I wish it would stop making those weird noises , it's gloomy everywhere , and you don't get much opportunity to practice some things rofl It all seems a little more "grown up" , if you know what I mean - I'm not sure how I feel about that yet , we'll see.

I think I like the movement in it over the other ones...

I agree the camera coulda been done a bit better...

I love playing the wolf, though it does take some practice... Picking up the bone in Castle Town as a wolf... Just fun to be able to do that... Makes me wanna chew on something too hard for me to actually be chewing on.

I don't like Midna either...

The gloom lifts up when the twilight clears, so don't get depressed over it.
