Houses for masters. Most likely they would have houses if they are wealthy enough to own slaves...

I agree, as of right now the 'Rooms' Subforum is not restricted to just rooms, the post you create is basically yours to do with as you will house or room, but they all have to remain on the island for obvious rp reasons. I'll update the page most likely tomorrow when I have some free time.

A holding pen of sorts for the more unruly of slaves. Though, I suppose the trainer are would be the same thing..... Erm... How bout a lobby of sorts for masters to gather to discuss things or simply chill out?

Thank you so much for everyone that has donated so far! It really does make me feel all warm and fuzzy! Buuuuuut!
I'm going to ask for everyone to put a hold on donations. Let's save your money and funnel it in a more productive way for now. This is for two reasons.... I still want to commission artists for the ceremonies which will cost money and I'd like to start a donation fund once that gets rolling. I had an idea about ... ten minutes ago.... sort of a small pay bonus for people who have the banner in their sig for a week or more. But I don't have that much money so it wouldn't be terribly huge. Maybe 200 gold a month. (I'd love for it to be more but if ten people did it and it was 500 gold that would be 5,000 for me to pay..... @_@ and that's only ten!)
So what about a donation fund? I can set up a mule that accepts the donations, record it down in a thread, and of course every penny would go to the guild in some manner.

A guild donation mule is always a good idea -nods-
Mainly because any donations that go towards the guild can so far only be used for making sub-forums and such. So basically once we have all the sub-forums we want the gold is just... stuck within the guild.
I think a donation mule would be a good idea, it would help you with paying off the artists you commission for the ceremonies and mainly, like I said earlier if people keep donating to the guild itself then their money is wasted and stuck within the guild.

"I have an idea...In the Master/Mistress profile section...when he/she is making a profile, in the title, he/she should include that he/she is a Master or Mistress, along with the number of slaves he/she owns. For example: Master Valen Sky (1). This way, people wouldn't have to search through thousands of threads trying to find out if this person is a Master or Mistress. Also, the other person will already know if this character is able to have another slave without PMing or reading through a lot of stuff.
Similar to the idea above, the slaves should put 'Male' or 'Female' somewhere in their profile, including if they are owned or not. Example: Devon/Male/Owned ...does anyone support this idea?"

Actually I like this idea a lot as far as the numbers go for Masters and Mistresses and the gender for both, as well as owned. Though I don't want it to look like for slaves, "Estrella/Female/Owned" but rather something a bit less structural perhaps "Estrella Owned Female Slave". I'll update the profile guidelines now, though everyone will be responsible for changing their own.

One thing that could make things easier when making a slave profile would be if the "Type of slave" was if you explained that it's for what is your slave used for, like houseworking, entertainment, etc. I've noticed that a lot of people have used to for a sort of personallity spot. Unless it doesn't matter, then leave it as it is. =3

"Entry fee...you NEED an entry fee. Why? Because you'll eventually get people who will join, then become inactive. If you make them pay to get in, then they'll be more encouraged to RP because they had to spend their gold. I say you make it 50 gold for right now. You can get the guild more gold that way, though I really don't think we need another sub."

I agree with Audine, that will be added to the profile but I disagree with Ryu on his point. Even inactive members serve the purpose of rising our guild to the top of the list, and we have enough active members that I am not worried.

"Okay, I see what you mean. But still for just about every guild, there comes a point where it is inactive, but it has over 300 members... What I did, which I wish I had done from the beginning, was make a guild mule, then I sent a friend request to all everyone in the guild, excluding the people that haven't logged in since before the time of October 15th. So now, just about the entire guild is on the mule's friend list, and with that done, I can easily PM everyone at the same time, because I had over 100 inactive members. It helps a lot." 3nodding

Oh that's a wonderful idea! I like it a lot. Well when I set up the donation mule I'll make sure to add members to the friend list for easy invitations and updates and the likes.
