 The Lounge of the Free was the pinnacle of the building, located on the top floor, where slaves were not allowed to enter unless to serve food or clean, but beyond that they were not allowed to stand idle.
The room was so well decorated, gold trim, elaborate paintings, large and grandiose fire places, velvet chairs, nothing was taken for granted to please the eye.
The lounge was meant strictly for the Free's pleasure, and it was often where they could be found speaking to one another when they weren't with their slaves.
Welcome and please take a seat near the fire, it's time to relax in luxury.

Garret pushed open the elaborate double doors and stepped into what was undoubtedly the most opulent room he had ever set foot in. He let the door swing closed behind him, moving on silent hinges, and stood for a long moment simply staring at the luxury of the place. This was not what he had been expecting...
The room was empty save for the young man, and his sandalled feet echoed loudly on the gleaming hardwood floor as he moved towards the fireplace. He knew that soone nough he was going to have to convine people he truly belonged here, but for the moment it was impossible not to be awed by the place's majesty.
At a loss for what to do, he noticed a large button set into the wall near one of the tables, labelled 'Service.' Curiously he pressed it, and a small light underneath came on, but there was no other noticeable effect. Shrugging, he settled into a padded chair near the fireplace and let his mind wander while he waited for some company who could explain this place to appear...

Lady Kitara was sitting on the piano bench, her white and blue coat tails hiding her feet from view. She was sitting in front of the piano lost in her own world as from her fingers came a symphony of sound. Her fingers were literally dancing across the keys in such perfection, it was awe inspiring.
What was even more amazing was the fact her eyes were closed, her face looking so relaxed, it seemed like she was merely sleeping. Perhaps she was? Is it possible to sleep and play so beautifully? Surely not.... and yet she played with eyes closed.
Ah this was truly how a Lady of the House should act, refined, poised, and yet still full of small secrets. Nothing too foul like the commoners, but something... something always kept out of reach, like a tease.

Garret jolted as the piano's melodic strains broke the room's silence. He sprung from his chair and whirled to face the sound, muscles tensed, eyes blazing--and froze, cursing himself mentally. This was not the way to respond; he was supposed to be an aristocrat on vacation, and startling like a scared rabbit at every surprise was not the way to keep in character. Forunately, the woman at the piano had either not noticed him, or decided not to bother with him. She still had her back turned, fingers leaping gracefully along the keyboard, and remained that way as Garret tentatively crossed the floor to stand behind her.
"Its remarkable." he said, honestly enough, as he leaned over he shoulder to watch the blur of flesh along the keys. "Your playing, I mean. how long have you played?"

The music suddenly stopped, her fingers letting go of the keys and resting upon them as the last few notes echoed across the room. She waited until it was silent to speak, not wanting to raise her voice in the slightest.
"I have been playing the piano ever since I was old enough to reach the keys." She the stood, pushing the piano bench away, straightening her coat and turning to look at him fully. "The fine arts are what I stride to master, a much more difficult slave than of the human variety, though still a slave in my mind."
Her lips twisted up in a smile and she bowed fully to him, "My name is Lady Kitara, owner of this establish." She straightened and looked him directly in the eye, not cold or warm, but rather unemotional, her voice sounded so polite and taught that it was hard to think that she was doing anything else but business. "And may I have your name good Sir?"

Aelita came into the lounge and relaxed on one of the nice couches with a sigh. She missed her pet Sei very much, he hadent been feeling well and she'd taken him to a local doctor. Unfortunatly for the mistress and slave who had grown very attached and had not been apart since the slaves purchase, he had to stay the night for observation.
She sighed again hugging a pillow to her chest.
