Since almost everyone already knows I have exams, this topic.

But, let's expand it:
anyone who has exams or tests, let it know here, so the other members can support you.

My exams:
* Nov-Dec: tests during the year: both failed
* Dec: Markovchains: holding a lecture about Itô-integral and Black-Scholes equation: 14/20
* Jan 8, Jan 9: Analysis: Differential Equations and Function Spaces: propably failed, the prof said (translated freely) "what you showed me, wasn't that much and not what I aimed for"
* Jan 19: Algebraïc Geometrics: 11/20, difficult questions, but I gave it a nice try.
* Jan 26: Statistics: failed for sure
* Feb 2: Algebra: Modern Galoistheory: 9/20 This professor is now hated forever.

For me:
Exams were always the time in which I had to catch up to my classmates, when in highschool.
I was always top notch at all art and practical classes/assignments but too lazy to actually study during the year (most of the time I skipped classes, I went to eat in fancy restaurants or sit in the park all day)...I had to do a lot of re-takes and such because of this.
One year, the PE teacher gave me a re-exam just because I was too good to be denied good grades but my behaviour was that "bad" ((according to the panel)) they needed to punish me somehow.

Nowadays I study hard for my theory exams since they do make sense to me now, as most of those are related to my study.
I'm fairly smart and I try to do my best and be motivated.
Before I didn't really feel the need to study subjects and walk in line because it just made no sense to me (yep, I have/had an authority problem).

I want to support Bart when he has to study and it's really hard for me to deal with the fact that I can't really help him:
Since his subjects are too specialized and difficult for me to grasp.

Luckely I have no theory exams this year! Good.

Ah! Now there's one that should be a breeze, eh? If anything, you get plenty of practice running the Color Bump. 3nodding

I hope the one's you've done poorly on weren't that important to your overall grade or field of study. Though, what exam isn't? I would believe that most mathematics exams would be cut and dry; yes or no answers, but I'm sure that once you get into the deeper math subjects (like you are), that's not the case. Good luck on the rest of your exams.

Now psych, whew! sweatdrop There's a good time (note sarcasm). Not a cut and dry answer in the bunch! I still have nightmares about those exams....and that was over 10 years ago. *shudder*

Well, those Statistics are much more advanced than the colorbump ones.
BUT, you are right, it is really my favourite.
About the importance: the one I passed so far was the one that was the least important (5% of the total) the others all count for 10% of the total.

Next week is Mid-term exams -

Tuesday - AP Pre-calculus, and U.S. History
Wednesday - Anatomy, English
Thursday - Gym(yes, there is an exam), Spanish
Friday - Chemistry

I get to spend my three day week end studying for most of these subjects so I can pull off B or if lucky A in all my classes. Only up side is that we get half days, only up to 2 exams a day, and then you get to go home. I sill loathe them, for I know I will fail at least 2 *cough* Anatomy, pre - calculus*cough*
Wish me luck

Good luck! If you need help in pre-calculus, you can always PM me, I'm still kinda good in that. (and was it TaiFengShin who is/used to be a math tutor?)

Nah its okay the toughest thing for me is inverse functions I really don't like them, and remembering special angles that go with cosine, sine, tangent and all that fun stuff rolleyes

Oh yeah, I still remember all those, in degrees and radials (and use them every now and then)
And you can believe me, the "inverse" thing is something very important and interesting in math, but never ever easy. If a structure become double as difficult, mostly the study of the inverses and duals becomes triple as difficult.
*nags*
Hope you make it!

I got the same score on everything though. D: Except for maybe Japanese. And PE, because I probably failed that so hard. You probably got at least a couple of A's, didn't you? xp

I took my American Government exam today. It was pretty easy, probably because I studied for a long time last night.

Tomorrow I have Gym and Language Arts exams. Thursday is Band and Science (I don't know why we need an exam for band, but whatever xd ) and then Friday is Geometry and Spanish.

We have an early release every day this week around 11:00 so that we have lots of time to study. 3nodding
