This game starts at the letter A and each poster takes the next letter (a b c d e.. etc). For each letter of the alphabet you must think of a book name. To make it a little harder you have to write a mini review for the book you picked smile Guess I get to start it off biggrin

Its about a bunch of astroid miners (3 of them) who find an excape pod floating in space. They are amazed to discover the occupant is a young female child from a race they have never seen before.

C - The Crucible (not counting "The" are we?)
Set during the 1690's Witch Trials in Salem Massachusetts, The Crucible is really an allegory for the "Committee on Un-American Activities" trials staged by Senator Joe McCarthy during the 1950's. The play, written by Arthur Miller, explores the dynamics of group behaviour as it relates to the hysteria generated by baseless accusations. This play is so politically charged that it is still banned in some American high-schools.

The United Confederation of Independent Worlds -- otherwise known as the Empire -- is an hegemony of over 190 worlds plus their colonies and other dependencies. The capital of the Empire is at New Augusta on Terra, although many support functions are based off-planet.
