My best friend is going up to visit her millionare grandparents MLK day weekend, and since they're in the area, she's going to disneyland.
And she offered to take me with her.
Now this is great fun, excellent for me. "So what's the Catch?" you say.
Oh, there's a catch alright.
You see, My best friend describes her grandmother as "posh".
She says she doesn't approve of my type of fashion sense (My best friend often dresses like that too) which means as little black as possible (impossible for me, so too bad in that department), no armwarmers or fishnets, No skulls (I'll have to hide or not wear my favorite necklace, and I have to be reaaally carefull about band t-shirts, less they contain anything, well, as my best friend jokingly put it "Offensive, or satanic."
And Mah friend says her Granny won't like my Jacket. Yes, the sexy black emo jacket.So if it's cold at all, I get to freeze to death, seeing as I dont really have any other warm jackets. Plus I love that jacket.
Bugger.
Doesn't help that I have this really weird fear of other people's relatives (no clue why. Anyone know the medical term for this one, LOL?). Now i'm really freaked. I'm going to have to be on my best, most polite, non-punk behavior (also she'll despise my emo-metal-hard rock music, so i'll have to avoid humming or singing it around her. At least i'll have my iPod.
And we're staying there all weekend.
I'm scared. Doesn't help that winter vacation ends today (we start school again tommorow, yeah, a Wednesday, right before a three day weekend, how dumb is that?) so i'm going to be even more stressed. I hate having to not be myself.
