Woot! As of today, June 25th, if memory serves me correctly IZ airs in Japan today. As of now please expect a sudden surge of (ZADR) yaoi doujinshi and the such. The name changes are as follows:
ZIM - Jimu (or "Gym" if put through a translator *shudder*)
GIR - Gaa
Dib - Dibu, Deibu?
Gaz - Gazu?
Soooo, tout le mond, what do you think about this? Personaly, I think this is good news. As someone said, if intrest is big enough in Japan the series might be picked up again ... and doujinshi but no one cares about that. ;_;

I doubt the series would get picked up again. Even if it did, hasn't Jhonen said he does not want to continue with it? sweatdrop

I agree. Who knows, maybe there's a tiny possibility of a continuation.
Anyhow, I can't wait until the Invader Jim fans run in here. XD Then we can laugh at them. =D
If anyone ever comes across any, can people post clips/sound clips of the Japanese dub? I'm curious to hear their Japanese voices. XD I hope the show will be popular in Japan! ^^ That'd be so cool! ^^

First off, I doubt Zim's coming back with new episodes because Vasquez already said he thought it was "too popular". Secondly, it's fine if Japan sees Zim, I mean how many animes have been sent over here for us to badly dub and misinterpret? It's the least we can do

I doubt it as well, I'm just saying you never know. I'm not hoping for it, because I'll just wind up disappointed.
I just think that it's cool that it's going over to Japan. ^^ I know other cartoons go over there as well, but I don't there's that many.

Canceled due to Nick, but Jhonen also said he didn't want to make anymore.
I just don't want anyone getting their hopes up and being all "0mg iz is commin bak they hav it in japan now!!11" Because although it MIGHT happen, there's the 99% chance that it won't. sweatdrop
