My english teacher has asked me to go in for a competition from The Guardian newspaper, called Novel of the Year. You have to write a 500,000 word novel and enter it. She thinks I can do it, and she's going in to! Wish me luck!!
The prize is lunch with a load of editors!

I'm writing a book, and it's so far got just under 20,000 words. It's sixty pages long. Multipy that by 25, and you've got 500,000 words, equal to 1,500 pages! o__o;
I think my brain just collapsed upon itself >.>

I'm writing a book, and it's so far got just under 20,000 words. It's sixty pages long. Multipy that by 25, and you've got 500,000 words, equal to 1,500 pages! o__o;
I think my brain just collapsed upon itself >.> Oh no, I worded it incorrectly. The limit is 500,000. I think that 100,000 is the minimum.

What will you be writing about?Fantasy. I was going to do one called "Magpies" which is based around that old rhyme, you know "One for sorrow..."
