More like a ring of islands than an actual land mass, the Kanzaki Mansion lays far north of the Playhouse estate, sitting about 128 miles away. The owner, listed by the name of Suru Kanzaki, made sure that the only way people can get access to this land is by helicopter, for 'safety reasons'. Hurricanes are not unheard of here but are relatively uncommon.
---
The rooms of the Kanzaki Mansion were all similar in style but none identical. The Mansion consists of three floors. A basement floor containing rooms unbeknownst to those other than the Master of the house and those who are unfortunate enough to be sent there, A second floor, or ground floor, which contains three bathrooms, a large kitchen, an equally large dining room, a lavish den, and a personalized TV room for the Master, where the guests and slaves are usually not allowed.
The third floor contains another handful of three bathrooms, a Master bedroom, and two guest bedrooms. Each room has a large walk-in closet, a queen-sized bed, a vanity, and a nightstand, each has a lamp and a single rose inside a slim vase standing upon it.
The bathrooms, which are all similar, yet not identical, each have a large walk-in shower, complete with tropical potted plants, stone floors, and natural-looking lighting. The showerhead is not like a showerhead at all, but a slit in the wall where water pours out like a waterfall.
The kitchen has all of the latest cooking technology, and the cabinets and fridge are always stocked.
The dining room table is long and thin, made of dark mahogany, set with candles and lace placemats and is dimly lit for ambiance. The floors are of black marble, and your footsteps tend to echo as you walk on it.
The den contains many fine leather couches and a romantic fireplace, stocked with thick, dry logs. There are also quite a few bookshelves stocked with fine works and encyclopedias.
And finally, the Master's TV room quarters. It consists of a simple reclining chair and a humble flat-screen television hanging on the wall. This is where the ruler of the house seeks refuge from the craze of the world.

Ai sat in his end chair slowly sipping from his wine glass. Savoring the contents, he tipped his head back, and contemplated his new slave for the last few days. Resting his hand on the mahogany dining table, and bringing the glass to his lips with his other, Ai stopped in mid sip. Smiling, he sat the glass down gently, not wanting to disturb it's fragility, shattering it on the floor. Besides, Yumi probably wouldn't be too happy having to clean up another broken goblet that he had a habit of shattering.

Yumi peeked her head around the corner of the dining room enterence, a bright smile on her face. Her eyes shone happily as she slid the rest of her body and came to lean on the doorframe, her hands clasped behind her back. She stood in scilence for a moment, wondering if he would notice she was there. The young girl was still quite shy around her new Master, and was trying to get into some kind of routine. So far, she settled on following him around or popping up at random moments. Like this time, for example.

Ai glanced at the young girl and chuckled, amused greatly at her sudden interest to follow him. He never had a slave do that before, normally they always stayed clear of him, somewhat making him pay for what other masters before him did. "If you're hungry or thirsty, you can go to the kitchen and get yourself something." He used his right hand to smooth out his shirt, a black, unfaded mens dress shirt that covered his white undershirt quite nicely. "Just stay out of the wine. I've been saving most of that for quite a long time now."

Yumi's eyes widened slightly as she tried to stifle her laughter. She tried to picture herself as a lush, rummaging through her Master's fine wine and drinking it until every last bottle was dry. She simply could not.
"Thank you." She muttered, a hint of laughter shadowing her words, "But i'm not hungry. And I just had a glass of water a few minutes ago." She rocked back and fourth on her heels as she always seemed to do in a moment of boredom, looking around the expensive-looking dining room. She twirrled a finger in a few strands of her short hair, re-adjusting one of the hairpins.
"Do you um...want anything from the kitchen?" She asked quietly, avoiding looking him in the eye as she stared at the un-lit candles on the table.

Ai stalled. Pretending to think for a minute he said, "You know what? Why don't you make me something? That should be pretty simple, right?" He chuckled, still unaware of his new slave's cooking skills. It was just too fun doing that to them, although his latest slave's creation just about sent him to the hospital, he was willing to take the risk for this one.

Yumi seemed to twitch nervously, suddenly straightening up and fidling with the hemline of her skirt.
"Umm..oh. Okay. Cook. Yeah..." She said quietly, pretty much to herself, almost as an instruction. As if talking herself into cooking would somehow make her better. She was never much of a great cook, but oddly enough excelled at vegetarian dishes. She quickly thought up some quick dishes in her head as she nervously walked out of the dining room and into the kitchen, ocasionally murmuring a few words out loud to herself.
She decided to make something that didnt require the oven, for she wasnt quite sure if there was a fire department in close range of the Mansion. She took a loaf of bread from the pantry and cut two slices of bread from it, the middle of the sandwich including watercress lettuce, fresh sliced mozzarella cheese, tomato, bean sprouts, and pruchetta ham. She then prepared a side salad of baby arugula, boston lettuce, sliced mandarin oranges, and a pomegranite champange vinagrette.
The young slave was nearly trembling with anxiousness as she carried the two plates out into the dining room, placing the two dishes in front of him. Nestled underneath her arm was a bottle of Pellegrino mineral water, and a tall glass. She placed both the glass and the bottle on the table and stood off to the side, nervously awaiting approval.

Ai glanced around, surprise etched on his young face. With eyes drinking in every detail, he paused when she brought the dishes out to him and took the bottled water, pouring himself a glass. "Thank you, Yumi." He offered her a smile and slid his fork into one of the mandarin orange slices, bringing it up to his mouth and taking a small bite. He nodded to her in approval and continued his meal, taking slow bites of his sandwich until nearly all of it was gone. He let a hidden smirk come onto his features when he took a long drink of the water, and started choking immediately afterwards. He coughed into his sleeve and looked towards her. "HOW DARE YOU FEED ME SUCH A ...just kidding. It was wonderful, thank you." He started laughing at his own joke, but inwardly hoped he didn't go too far and scare the girl.

As suspected, the sensitive young girl jumped as she heard him raise his voice, a look of shock plastered on her face. Her eyes filled with terror until she finally realized he was kidding. She looked quite stiff-petrified, in fact, as she tried to force herself to laugh. The laugh did sound rather forced, though she did relax her shoulders a bit.
"Well, i'm glad you like it. I'm not quite sure how to cook meat, I was raised as a vegetarian. But I'm sure there's a book or two on cooking in your bookshelves. If I have some free time at some point, if you'd like, I could take a look." She said with a nearly breathless voice, nodding shortly.

He stood and smiled at her, apparent that he felt bad about scaring the young slave. "That would be fine, although I'm not particularly too fond of meat myself. One of my other servants could teach you if you wish to learn as well." He placed a hand on her shoulder and inwardly hoped she wouldn't back away from his touch after him scaring her like that. He suddenly remembered something that he asked her when they first arrived. "You did as I said, right? You found a room of your liking? You can personalize it in any way you wish, as long as it's suitable."

Yumi smiled politely, finally relaxing a bit. "Yes, the rooms are quite beautiful. I'm afriad I dont have much to personalize the room with, except for a couple outfits." She didn't seem to upset about the fact, for the room was beautiful in it's own simple way.

He smiled then patted her head and tucked a stray strand of hair that was in her eyes behind her ear. He seemed to be doing that a lot lately, not because he thought of her as a pet, but because he just simply enjoyed doing so. And he figured that if he had the opportunity to be stroked like a cat, he wouldn't mind. "Very well. You have my permission to look throughout my book shelves to find something of your interest, if you wish. They usually always consists of non-fiction, but that shouldn't be a problem."

Yumi shrugged, closing her eyes as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. It was just one of the many affectionate actions that Yumi enjoyed. She opened her eyes and nodded, a calm, innocent look on her face, contrary to the nervous, frightened girl that had been while at the showroom, and the one her Master had rescued.
"Thank you." She said simply, offering a polite smile.

This got a small smile from Ai in return and he chuckled, bringing both of his hands down to his sides again. "I have to retire for the evening. If you need me, you know where to find me." He started walking down to the other end of the dining room, his footsteps echoing only slightly. He turned back to her and smiled again. "Clean up the table, would you? Just where I sat at would be fine, I know how long it would take otherwise."

Yumi nodded, waiting until she could no longer hear his footsteps before she started to move. She carried his dishes into the kitchen, being careful not to drop anything. They all looked so expensive...china, perhaps? In any case, she made it to the sink safely and emptied the leftovers into the disposal, then loaded the dishes into the dishwasher. As it ran, she walked back into the dining room with a warm, damp cloth. She wiped down the table, humming to herself a bit. She didn't mind housework at all, in fact she did alot of it in her own home before she was a slave.
The slave finally finished cleaning up, and blew out the candles gently, the room instantly becoming darker. It was a little scary...being in a dark, intimidating room where every sound echoed. She quickly scurried off into the hallway, pausing to look around. She slowly examined every door, and every dusty knick-knack in the hall. The ornate paintings and antique-looking tables adorned the narrow space. She was about to turn around and head back to the kitchen when she saw something strange. Something that didn't quite fit in. It was a white-washed door with a rusty padlock on it. It didn't look anything like the rest of the mahogany doors with gold doorknobs. She bent over in front of the door, peaking through a small crack in the wood. There appeared to be a set of cobblestone stairs leading down, lit by torches on either side of the wall. There was something about it she didn't like...it just screamed 'you're not supposed to be snooping around, Yumi!'
Yumi took the advice of her consience and turned around, walking back down the hall toward the kitchen. On the way there she saw the door to her Master's retreat. She knocked once, softly, in case he was asleep.
