It is nice to see a more solid article about Casshern's fate in the US. I've been seeing too many semi-wild rumors talking about Dreamworks trying a remake of the movie instead of simply distributing the film.
The R2 DVD Release has been tempting me for awhile, particularly since it includes english subs. I'm more than willing to wait for an R1 DVD Release though and pay less than $47USD. 3nodding

I guess the HK DVDs of Casshern are starting to get decently distributed.

I finished Casshern earlier. Great visuals definitely, neat atmosphere, and the fight against the robot army was incredible (rest were decent, but that one stole the show for me). The last twenty minutes turning into a cheesy lessons for humanity made me blink though. whee
Sorry, no detailed review with tons of screenshots this time. sweatdrop

I already watched the Japan-area DVD. Good stuff, but it's nothing like the original Casshern series, which severely pissed me off. I will never forgive those bastards for putting Flender in as a cameo rather than a character...

Remember when Casshern took his girlfriend to the village doctor? The Doctor introduced his dog as Flender.
