All types of characters are needed for a good roleplay, so I was wondering what kinds of characters our members like to roleplay. Is your character a hero? A clown? A villain, perhaps? Or maybe the anti-hero that seems to be getting popular lately.
Myself; I like to roleplay the carefree kind. I enjoy being comic relief, or the character that lightens a heavy mood. I can play more complex characters as well; the kind that make you think about yourself.
And yourselves?

I tend to play the emotional characters that think too much lol. The ones that have inner conflicts that probably wouldn't rise had they not brought anything up. My characters tend to be more serious and heartfelt. The kind of character you grow to love, but doesn't strike you as fun to be around at first glance.

I have a very difficult time playing serious characters. Those types tend to clash with my personality too much. sweatdrop I'm capable of overthinking things myself, but my imagination plays a big part in it. The more I think about something, the farther from reality I take it. I can end up working myself into a fury over nothing, or scaring myself into sleeping with my head under the covers thanks to that. XD So I try to find a happy medium. Like a character that seems serious, but can say or do some pretty off the wall things~

I can also play the light hearted, carefree character. Kind of like you said, comic relief. I have the ABILITY to play just about any type of character, hero, villian, joker, loner, lover, thinker, etc. but the thinker type is what I USUALLY play. I think this guild would be a good chance for me to play someone different for a change. 3nodding

Yes. (: And I could try to keep my imagination under control and play a more sinister character. @3@

I've tried playing a villain before. I didn't pull it off very well, because I made them out to be rather dumb. ._.; I tend to stick to characters that are closer to my personality~

My roleplaying character Tara Lunar is more of an innocent than anything else. She doesn't have a very good memory, tends to get caught in traps, and fails to understand half of what is going on. Other than that she is loving, and if somewhat affected by what she does occasionaly remember, is mostly better for it. She is just deathly afraid of wolves.

I see...
I have a male character that is innocent and naive. Not quite like that, though. See, he was put to sleep for 10,000 years, chosen to stay with a treasure his people greatly valued. And once he woke up, he knew nothing of the language or customs of the people of the new world. (:

I am a dragon man. I tend to use a dragon that can become human most of the time. I most of the time I say that my char left home and became a wonder. Smart, silent, calm, powerfull, that is how my char is.

My characters vary with my mood and with the roleplay. My favorite types to play are serious, older-brotherly types and twisted, utterly psychotic villain types. Two very different kinds of characters. I can also play adorable, childlike characters, as well as hyperactive, confident ones. I am not good at playing the super-cool, I-don't-care, antihero type, though.
