The lake is located just west of the city. It is a pretty big lake with a small island in the middle. On the island, there is a small tomb of the past kings of Peron. The door is seal by very powerful magic so entrance is impossible without the spell to open it. There is also a small tavern near the water. It is for people to order drinks and purchase fishing supplies or just rent a boat while here. The water is crystal blue and loaded with a variety of fish. Many say that the water has been enchanted to always be clean and clear. Even maybe healing properties too. It is rumored that if you swim in the water, wounds will be healed faster. Some say its just a rumor, other think its the spirits of the past kings, still protecting their kingdom.

Zejx sat by the lake, staring up at the night sky. His sword and scabard were detached from his back and laying on the ground next to him. Well this turned out to be one hell of a day. We found the demon we were after, killed him, and then I black out... Then the whole tavern inncedent... He let out a sigh and looked down over the water. What was he going to do about HIM. He seemed to be gettting stronger and stronger control. Soon, Zejx may not be able to control him and loose his body completely. Zejx remained sitting there, thinking about these things thoughout the night.

As the sun rose over the horizen, Zejx slowly opened his eyes. He sat up and looked around. I... I fell asleep... After a moment, he slowly stood up and stretched. This was going to be one hell of a day. Not only were they finally going to return to the heavens, but they were bringing along an old friend. The council wasnt going to like this, but there wasnt much he could do about that.
As he turned to return to town, he suddenly felt a change in the wind. He turned toward its source. There, on the island in the middle of the lake, stood a figure. As Zejx squinted to see who it was, the figure was suddenly standing in front of him. Zejx jumped back a bit in surprise. The figured just let out a laugh.
What's this, an Angel Guardian, showing fear. I expected a little more courage from a hero of the Karlim war. As the figure stopped laughing, he waved his hand and a big gust of wind blow throw his blue haired listener.
Zejx covered his face from the wind. When he lowered his arms, the figure was gone. After surveying the area for quite sometime, Zejx didnt see any trace of it. What is the world was that... I've see that person somewhere before....

Little did Zejx know, that figure was just about to be the least of his worries. It was like a meteor hitting the ground next to him. Something had fell from the sky, landing not far from Zejx. There was even a small trail leading up to the crater it made.
As Zejx approached it, there was a small burst of wind. After the dust cleared, there was a demon standing in front of Zejx. Well, what a surprise. I come here in search of that damn undead man, and I find the legendary Zejx.
Zejx reached behind him back for his sword, but then it hit him. It was laying by the lake, on the other side of the demon. Which the demon had just made note of. He snapped his finger and a huge demonic blade formed in his hand. Looks like I’ll just have to settle for your head for the time being. With that, he charged toward Zejx, swing his sword at his head. But Zejx lean backwards and it went right over his head as he continued into a back flip. Dammit…
Let me fight him. I don’t need a weapon like you do.
The demon swung again, causing Zejx to dive forward as the blade passed by him. I still need to get to my sword. He turned toward his sword and went to step forward, but his body wouldn’t move.
I told you, let me fight.. I will tear this creature apart.
No, this is my body. You have no control over me.
Oh really, then explain to me why I am able to hold you back from retrieving you sword?
Zejx attempted again, but still nothing moved. Dammit, let go. Give me control of my body back. I command…. His thoughts were interrupted as something hit him hard in the head. Knocking him to the ground. The demon laughed as he returned his arm to his side. Come one, angel man. Lets see what makes you so special.
I told you, give me control and I will deal with this already.
And I told you, this is my body.
As the mental battle continued, the demon approached Zejx and grabbed him by the throat. This is very disappointing, and rather boring, I have bigger fish to fry. Farewell. The demon readied his blade to plunge into Zejx’s stomach. But right as he was about to push forward, a foot came in contact with his face, sending him flying and crashing to the ground a bit away. Zejx fell to the ground, coughing as he looked up at the new figure standing in front of him.
“We part ways for a short time, and I find you practicing getting your a** kicked? Boy you must have really changed, Zejx…”

Valtayvious smirked at Zejx, extending him a hand to help him back to his feet. As he did so, he looked over his shoulder for a moment at the demon lying on the ground, then back at Zejx. How about letting me handle this one?

Zejx got to his feet. Valtayvious? He stummbled a bit but regained his footing. Be my guest, the bastards all yours.

The demon slowly rose back up and glared at Valtayvious.
Another Angel Guardian? Oh this is too perfect. Now I get to double my pleasure.
Valtayvious chuckled slightly as he brandished his sword.
Is it custom for you to laugh in the face of death, you fool?
With that, the gem encrusted in Valtayvious's necklace began to glow a crimson color. He took his sword and tossed it up into the air. The demon's gaze followed the sword into the sky.
What the...
With the sword still being in mid-air, the demon brought his attention back down to Valtayvious. Instead of seeing him standing there weaponless, the demon was greeted with one of Valtayvious's fists...directly to the face. Being dazed, the demon stumbled backwards as Valtayvious jumped high into the air, catching his blade. Valtayvious was now engulfed in a blue flame as he came down from the sky, driving his sword deep into the demon's skull, and landing on his feet behind it. The demon's hands latched onto the handle of Valtayvious's sword for a split second, before the demon itself disintegrated. As it did, Valtayvious put his hand behind his back, catching his sword and returning his normal state. After putting his sword away, he spun around to face Zejx and walked back over to him.
Ah, nothing like a good demon slaying to get the circulation going eh, Zejx?

Zejx smiled as Valtayvious approached. Wow, looks like you've improved a bit. He bent down and picked up his sword. Thanks man, I owe you one. So... what are you doing here?

Valtayvious put his hand on Zejx's shoulder and smiled.
I kid, I kid. Actually, when I found out that you and Jurido had been sent here by the council to investigate demon activity, I figured I'd come down and have a look around myself. Thought a little back up couldn't hurt and it appears I was right. So now on to more important matters...
Valtayvious's stomach growled slightly.
How about some breakfast?

"I knew something fishy was going on around here." The blue haired young woman stands between the two boys and the city, a hand on her hip. "I should've known you'd be involved somehow Valtayvious. And....Z!"
The girl pounces on the blue haired warrior, a big smile on her face as she tightly wraps her arms around his neck. "What have you been doing without me Zejx?! >^-^< ! "

Valtayvious smirked at the facial expression Zejx was currently making.
Perhaps I should leave you two alone.
Valtayvious looked towards the town and was about to begin walking when he spotted a girl looking at the lake. He raised an eyebrow, wondering how long she had been there. He made his way over to her.
