Oh I've never actually really compared them, but let me just fetch my iPod and do that for you. whee Bass lines, whee!

Best non-muse base thingy would be in 20th Century Boy by Marc Bolan and T-Rex though. cool *does the air-bass*

My personal Favorite bass line is in Into the Groove.

It's just...so smooth and amazingly good.
Yeeh.
Mmm bass.

I didn't know that it was bass in Time is Running Out, I always thought that it was an electric guitar. Yeah, I'm a little dense.

My favorite bass like would either be in Time is Running out or Screenager. Or possibly Hysteria.

Probably hysteria or time is running out has the best bass riff.

I've been paying a lot more attention to the bass riffs lately, (since I found out what a bass riff *was* XD) I definately think I like them all. heart

I can't really say that I can remember each individual bass riff.

Muse aside though, I love Pain of Salvations bass riff for Dea Puricanae, if that's how you spell it anyway. sweatdrop

the bass in Feeling Good is just absolutely perfect for the song. I found out that it was a cover the two days ago. I was at pizza hut listening to the mars volta on my iPos and Feeling Good started playing but it was Frank Sinatra style. I don't know who it was but i listened muse the rest of the night,

that's not really a fair poll to have, everything by Chris is good, it's waaaay to hard to pick a favourite

I think the original was Nina Simone, but Michael Buble did a cover of it too (which could possibly be the version you heard).

I would definitely bet on the latter of the two.

I agree, all of his riffs kick a**. It would be impossible for me to choose a favourite too.
