The year is 2007. In the past few decades human population has skyrocketed, surpassing by far the population amount that has remained steady for millennia. With an increase in population has come an increase in technology, and in many fields of science. However this is not without risk. January 27th, 2007 was the day it all fell apart, the day science found a virus that would change the course of human history. The day that virus infected the lab and escaped, the day zombies once more walked upon the planet Earth.
The infection spread rapidly, a bite, a brush of an open wound against a zombie, and you were infected. Though scientists looked for a cure it became apparent it was useless. All that can be done is to survive this crisis, to defend or attack against the zombies. You are one of a group of survivors, who for so many years have lived as neighbours in one city. Now you must survive, by either bringing the battle to the zombies, or by holing up inside a shelter, and hoping for rescue.

Remember people, you are simply ordinary citizens, leading ordinary lives. You are not supercops, but the working class. And now you must use the skills you have all acquired over the years to escape this city. Each choice has consequences that very well may be fatal. Choose wisely, and good luck.
