On the Sci-Fi Doctor Who forum, there was much speculation whether or not Sci-Fi would gain the rights to air the new series of Doctor Who. A thread was started in which the posters could only respond in rhyme or haiku. This was my accumulative contributions to the thread. Enjoy!
Before we all knew,
We griped and complained.
We pondered, we wondered,
And in one big refrain,
We demanded to Sci-Fi
Where is Who?! we exclaimed.
Then finally they answered
Though slowly it came.
A date! Yes, a date!
Sept twenty-nine!
Series 2 premiere set,
So all would be fine
But fine we’re far from,
It’s a long time till Sept two nine.
(For UKers, they laugh as
The rest of US pine)
Till then, there’s not much to do
While we all wait for Who.
The forum’s exploded
And the posts become odder –
"Mixed drinks" and "let’s party!"
And the Doc is a father?
What cars Slitheen drive?
Hmm… has he a son or a daughter?
One fact still remains
That despite all this fodder -
(Oh, that drink? I’ll take water)
There’s not much to do
While we all wait for Who.
One cocoa for Rocks,
And kudos for Cat.
More people come join us -
In prose, we all chat.
When I started out,
I never knew
If this thread would last
Or go into the loo.
But you all proved me wrong,
I never knew -
There is much to do
While we all wait on Who!

But why would it matter if we get it in the US or not?
We'll always just download it if it doesn't. ^^

This is true, Sepik. It's also obvious that some of these folks had not heard of youtube either. Things were getting really bonkers in that forum for a while.
