The shop was somewhere in the fire nation. It was a relatively large forge. It was owned by Niccea and most of the weapons were made by her and her apprentice, Imerius, but she did have others to help during mass orders and do the lesser work.
The front of the store was small. There were weapons on display on the walls and in the windows. The weapons ranged from standard sized swords to beautiful, ornate daggers. There was even a small display case of jewelry. Niccea also displayed some armor, but her store wasn't known for it. Ana usually worked behind the counter of the store. On her back was her huge sword that didn't compliment her small frame.
Behind the counter was a doorway leading to the back of the store where the sound of ringing metal could be heard. The smiths under Niccea mainly worked on the lesser weapons. The ones that were not tailor made. Niccea had her own private workshop in the back too. In there, she and Imerius worked on special items. This was also where the jewelry was made.
Attached to the store was the Majeare house. The house had it's own front door next to the shop, but there was also an entrance through Niccea's workshop. The house wasn't very elaborate or large. There were only two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living area. Niccea and Imerius had their own rooms. Niccea's room was decorated in black and even had black velvet curtains. Imerius's room was the typical young boys room. Ana didn't really sleep a lot, but she had a little appropriated area of the living room that she curled up in. This was her choice not her sisters.
((wow...a place...not a plot point...and sorry for the big description...))

Everything was somewhat normal in the smithy. Niccea had sent off the additional help to hear Izuma's announcement. She sat in her back room, but she wasn't working. Her boots were propped up on the table. She was continually drawing her katana and sheathing it. She had an idea, but she wouldn't be able to execute it. She was too inexperienced. Imerius sat at the sharpening wheel putting the finishing touches on a weapon that he was making from start to finish without his master's help. It wouldn't go into the store, but it was good practice. Ana was left to watch the front of the store, and she was bored. No one would come when there was an announcement by the leader was going on. She sighed boredly.

The door to the shop swung open as the high priest entered. He silently closed the door behind him and walked up to Ana, "I understand that you and your sister have a plan that requires the help of the priests," he said in a lowered voice.

Ana nodded. "Yes it is a good plan too...actually a skilled fire user in general would work, but most of them end up priests under you anyways..." She opened up a door in the counter and lead Vulcan to Niccea's workshop.

Vulcan followed Ana, marveling at the workshop. He had never been in the workshop, and was pretty sure that not a lot of people have. "So, what is your plan?" he asked.

Niccea drew her katana. She has rarely ever drawn it because of its secret. The flame was wreathed a hell fire. "I don't know when it happened, but this katana got infused with my fire lore...I've been thinking. Our enemy is afraid of heat and warmth. Why not make weapons of flames? The only problem is I don't know how I did this in the first place, and I don't think people would want to buy black fire daggers. Also...I can plant these on a case. If I get robbed again. Our enemy will be stealing their own poison, but...do you think it can be done?"

Vulcan folded his arms in thought, "Of course it can be done, but making the flames concealed is the difficult part. We don't want the weapons to be screaming fire." He drew silent again as he thought and then continued, "We'll have to experiment with it. We should come up with the answer quickly." He smirked, "Very good plan."

"Yes...that is the problem...It can be done, but I don't know how I did it." She sheathed her katana. "That is why I need some help. My lore is not fine cut enough to do this...and also black fire doesn't have a lot of light does it."

"No, black fire wouldn't be as effective," Vulcan said distractedly, "Do you have a few daggers we can work on ready?"

Niccea laughed. "We are in the middle of a smithy..." Imerius came up to them. "You can use the one I just made. It isn't good enough for anything, but it is the same metal we use in the shop. I can also get some more of the discards, since you seem to be experimenting rather than making."

"I ment things that you would be willing for us to work on," Vulcan said with another smirk. He turned to Imerius, "Discards and scraps would be perfect."

Imerius nodded and trotted off to retrieve some more and make sure that they were wrapped up. Niccea smiled wistfully as he left. "As to the final product, I'll be starting work on those. I just need to wait to start, because it is going to take every smith here to make as many as we need."

Vulcan nodded, "And you wish to keep this secret, even from Lord Izuma, until we have the final product, correct?"

"Aye...It is mainly because I don't know how I'm going to do it yet. And really I think Lord Izuma has enough on his plate right now with this new threat. If the crowd he is addressing hasn't started rioting yet, they will be soon."

"I'm sure they'll start a riot. Izuma will be able to handle it though. This nation really follows him," he fell silent again, wondering if he should have went to Izuma's address. "But you're right. Waiting until it's absolutely finished would be better...for all of us."
