So, I'm playing Harvest Moon; Friends of Mineral Town it's my first Harvest Moon game, and I'm noticing a disturbing trend. I actually found myself worried about my little game pixel chickens and cows. >_< Is this abnormal ? I looked around the net and saw there are many scary crazy fans of HM out there. But... I'm smart, right? Should I be worried? XD

I need to take a better stab at Friends of Mineral Town. I just get stressed out at timers in games at times. sweatdrop
I believe this game does do well in feeling like the Super Nintendo version that I loved, while adding various features that have succeeded in the games released in between.

I've played HM for Gameboy, it does get rather addictive.

I played the HM on SNES... and that's really the only I finished. The gamecube version didn't really do it for me, and as for playing the new one for the DS, I played it for only a little while and stopped. Tracking virtual pets of any sort kind of stresses me out, haha, 'cause I'm just uber responsible like that.

I remember in the Super Nintendo game you just had to expand the house. Since everybody knows it takes a zillion dollars to contemplate putting a crib in the house. razz

I don't think it's abnormal... I used to play HM for Gamecube (It's a wonderful life) and I eventually started wondering how to get Celia to like me sweatdrop however, I stopped playing, since it bored me. (and because I thought I lost my chicken, Callie, and I got kinda depressed over that. so, no, its not abnormal)

I've seen some kind of harvest moon for DS - or maybe it was PSP? It was a little robot, graphics were cute/okay except the people looked weird.
I'm sad to say I'm semi-hooked on Harvest Moon 3 again. (GB)

Hi Kai,
I keep wondering about Harvest Moon especially now that GameCube is DEAD. I'm afraid it might turn into another Animal Crossing game for me where I'm constantly worried about leaving the game unplayed for days or months on end to the point where I BREAK ALL THE LAWS OF THE GAMECUBE UNIVERSE AND REVERSE TIME back to the last time I played the game.
