My mom likes Ed/Win.

We watch FMA together and have the first 5 DVD's, and when we watched Epi. 15 she asked if in the movie Ed and Winry hook up, I said no, and she said, "Dammit, I wish they'd get married."
I laughed.
Ha. Ha.

my sister is in university and she loves FMA. she adores the Ed and Winry coupling too, but she hates Roy and Riza. she says Roy is hers...I say she has funny taste ^^;;

My mom actually understands Fullmetal Alchemist and has watched the entire anime + Movie with me. It's one of the few she makes sense of and it is nice to be able to discuss it with her at times, such as the difference between it and the manga, or just watching episodes again. Anyhow...
She supports EdxWinry and thinks BONES is lame for not putting them together in the movie. I learned where I got traits of my personality from when she said this during the scenes with Noah and Ed:
"Ed's dead. Winry's been waiting for him to get the message through the whole series and he's running around with her in Germany... Typical man move."
My dad countered saying something about woman in Germany but had no idea what me and my mom were talking about or "WTF" we were watching. Still pretty amusing in my book. She's made other comments with scenes of EdxWinry from the anime but I can't recollect at this moment. SHE'S the reason I have such a tainted mind, I swear it... gonk
Random side note: She's also Anti-Yaoi, I found out. I have no idea she even knew what it meant... o_O

My brother likes Ed/Win...
He also likes my Yaoi.

My mom is stupid and supports Roy/Ed.
I told her I'd pimpsmack her for it.

ADJSKGFHD! *HUGS* THANK YOU. heart I don't like Yaoi at all but I get really irked with people who like Yaoi pairings that are wrong and impossible. Ed/Al, Roy/Ed... *Twitch*
Yaoi belongs in the fandoms that has is as canon. That I can fully understand.
But putting Yaoi into anime that is clearly aimed at straight romance is... SO damn annoying.
ON TOPIC: Both my parents think anime is retarded and a waste of money, but they support my obesseion come Christmas/Birthday time anyway, so whatever. XD Although my dad DOES like Cowboy Bebop a lot and watched the whole series with me.

I have a friend who loves Fullmetal Alchemist.
She also like the Ed/Win
But it doesn't really look like she likes it cause she a kind of person who doesn't really tell what what she likes.
If my mom likes Ed/Win, I'll probably freak out a little.
Though it'd be nice if she will but...
She doesn't look like a person who actually will like it...

i just found another fan of ed/winry....my MATH TEACHER. i freaked out when i first found that out. what happened was she told my friend to get something from her desk, and when she opened it, there it was...an FMA calandar in the top drawer. my friend held it up for everyone to see, so the whole class asked her about it and she said she loved ed and winry together. we were just all in shock the rest of the period.

all of my friends like EdXWinry except for my yaoi loving friends... *shudder* ... anyway, my parents hate anime and dont even try to watch so they could care less, ive never met an anime loving teacher, my granpa loves it tho (which is a little weird to me but o well).

She also likes Royai, which made me hug her more than I hugged her for EdoWin.
And! She stole (!!) my manga from my hands and saw a panel with Ling and Ranfan, where they climbed through the window and Ling shouted "DON'T WORRY!! I OVERHEARD EVERYTHING!!" and she asked if they were going out xD
Then she asked about Sloth/Pride in the anime...
which made me laugh.
Alot.
At one point, she misunderstood something I told her and thought Roy was Scar's brother and Tucker was Ed and Al's dad.
XD
Then again she's 51...
so whatev.

heehee that's funny...
again with the yaoi. i don't mind it, but it definitely isn't my favourite way of pairing up characters.
i just found out that my cousin likes ed and winry. ironically she says "ed's mine!" all the time... but she writes fanfics of ed x winry, collects avatars and wallpapers of them, AND she wrote a screaming lecture about them on some forum. i discovered all this within the hour i spent at her house watching what she does on the computer.

eehhh i tried getting my mom into FMA...didn't work out so well,
me: mom i hate you

me: for not likeing the same shows i do.
mom: O_O;; OMG! I FORGOT! *turns channel to some weird show shes obsessed about* crying NOOOO!!! it's almost over!!! crying cry

so i tried something simpler.
me: who looks better with him? *points to ed*
mom: *points to roze* shes pretty they look cute.
me: gonk NO!!! NO! NO! BAD MOMMY!
mom: O.O *walks out of room*
me: *bangs head against wall*
so sweatdrop nope
