I have been asked this while recruiting, How do we plan to make this a better place? Well, I've been thinking that maybe to make this a better place, instead of just pointing out the problem, we could say our cause is to promote regular chat. Any other thoughts on this subject? surprised

I've been trying to keep the topic alive. I mad a bit of a post on the second page. Most of it is opinionated because I'm sure we all have different ideas all running along the same track on this one. Feel free to change it add it edit it, whatever. We have two new members. Maybe we can get some more. Something I wanted to ask though, Do we feel like having tha main forum more of discussional and debating topics and create another subforum ( eventually...) for something else? ( i know alot of Gaians like to rp, maybe have an rp forum?) ( we'd have to run that by Mj and the others first though)

I find that when there's subforums they rarely get visited.
We could approach the problem a few different ways
[1]Make threads in a certain forum [most likely chatterbox] and promote our ideals.
[2]Go into said threads, and, respectfully [trick/teach] posters [into/about] the way we think
[3]Hit it person by person, Pming and talking to. Go for the nice ones, they learn better.
I stopped being like that by joining an anti noob guild. They made me type rite and everything.

true enough on the subforum thing, I think the subforum in this guild is reraly ever posted in. it's mostly old threads. I like Your ideas on how to get more mebers. I think we can get a way of doing that with relative ease. It seems that the recruitment thread is doing almost no good what so ever.................. Mmmm..... that's a lie actually... If we could actually have others posting there, we might actually be able to bring it away from bumps and smilies to actual chatter.^_^ Mmmm...fun times.lol
